I woke up in an empty bed today. Frowning, I searched for my pookie but he was nowhere in view.
"Are you in the bathroom, husband?" I called out but got no reply. It means he's not even in the bathroom. Now this made my frown deepened. Where is he?
"Arsh?" I called out as I walked out of the bedroom. I was walking on until I was on the stairs. Coming down from them, I finally spotted him in the kitchen. He was making something, and he was looking hot. In his grey sweatpants and bare torso, he was looking the book-boyfriendish hot.
And I'm such a sucker for him.
"Hi." I said cutely, hugging him from behind. He was so tall that I could only reach his shoulder. So I kept my chin on his upper back and smiled. He looked back for a second, before shaking his head and turned back towards the stove. I think there was a smile on his face.
"Good morning, gorgeous" he replied and mixed the batter. He's making cheela.
(Cheela- an Indian breakfast dish made with chickpea flour.)
I sighed in response and closed my eyes, taking a breath. He smelled so damn nice. "Are you sniffing me?" He asked, trying to control his laughter.
I slapped him on the back.
"I'm just a girl, in the world, okay! Let this girl have a breath of relief." I said, and kissed his shoulder. Then I heard the mixing of batter and utensils stop, as he turned around. And the next moment, I was sandwiched between the kitchen platform and my husband.
And dear heavens, his muscles look so tempting.
I tried to stop my eyes from wandering on his body, and looked up in his eyes instead. There he was, my husband standing half naked, with a smug look on his face. "Like what you see?" He asked me and I winked, responding in positive.
That's what a long time in marriage does to you. You can freely share all your thoughts with your man/woman.
Arsh started to laugh a little, making my heart skip a beat. He is so pretty!
"Yes? But you are more pretty then me." He replied to my non-given compliment, making me frown.
Did I say that out loud?
"I mean yea?" He replied again. My eyes widened. I thought I was speaking to myself!!
The amount of spell this man has on me is beyond my understanding. "Leave me now! Make the breakfast, go!" I say, pushing him away. Though he didn't budge even a bit.
I should have agreed when he asked me to join the gym with him, three years back.
"Love, you and I both knows that you don't want me to leave yet." I he came closer to my face and whispered over my lips.
So hot.
okay.
any thoughts?
