This man is going to be the death of me

This man is going to be the death of me. His words, his actions, his kisses and even his gaze, everything melts me like an ice cube and then I evaporate into cloud nines.

"You're husband is very handsome." I flinched and turned around with wide eyes as I heard this whisper in my ear, looking at Paridhi mam with wide eyes. This lady knows how to keep me on toes very well.

"Th..thank you." I smiled at her, it was a nervous smile. Paridhi mam is like a mother figure to me, otherwise I would have thought that the woman who called my husband handsome has her eyes set on my man.

I might have ruined that woman's dress with this wet clay mud.

Yes, I am possesive like that and I'm not even apologetic about it. My man is my man, none of your man.

But knowing Paridhi mam, she must have said that just to tease me. Apparently for some reason, it's her favourite thing to do nowadays.

"Awww, are you blushing Ms. Arsh?" Mam asked me, and I looked away. She calls me Ms. Arsh to tease me. And it works every single time!

"No mam. Why would I. It's...it's been four years to our marriage already." I say, obviously not blushing. My face was just heating up, that's all. But that might be because it's hot today.

"Yea? Then why are you blushing like a newly wed bride?" She teased me further with that stupid grin on her face. I wanted to groan and run away from there, but I had a task to complete.

Before I could reply, we heard a shriek and mam ran towards the source of the sound. A girl named Manyata shrieked, and everyone's attention went towards her.

"What happened dear?" Paridhi mam asked her, and she showed her bleeding finger to mam. My eyes widened as I heard a few more gasps in the room. As she narrated what happened, turned out she was making the pottery and her hand touched the waterbottle by mistake. The bottle was made of glass and broke. In order to collect the pieces, she injured herself.

"Oh lord! How can you be so careless Manyata! Can't you see what you are doing? You could have called the cleaner for that part." Paridhi mam panicked and started to scold Manyata, who was in tears.

Since everyone else was silently watching the scene unfold, I went up to them after washing my hands. "Calm down mam, we need to take her to the hospital first." I said, trying to make her calm down. The piece of glass was still stuck in Manyata's finger.

"I can't take her there! I have to look after all of you!" Paridhi mam said with panic. Manyata started to sob somehow.

I can't blame her. She's just a college student.

Deciphering for a while, I said, "I'll take her there, mam."

a little drama is on the way.
