And as quickly as the leaves change on the trees, the six-month contract was up. The soft morning breeze caressed my face as Alan and I headed out to collect the inheritance. All around us, the murmur of the city mingled with the distant song of birds, creating a symphony that seemed to celebrate our love. However, as we entered the office, the glances of the others enveloped us in an air of suspicion, just as Alan had predicted. But at that point, no one could doubt what we felt for each other.

The formal questions were a mere formality. The first thing I did upon collecting the inheritance was to sit down with Alan and his lawyer to settle the debt he had paid for me months before. I thought I might find myself in a dilemma if Alan tried to refuse, but his response was a simple nod accompanied by a smile that lit up his face like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. That smile was so sweet and charming that it made me forget any worries.

We returned to the workshop as usual, but there was something different in the air this afternoon. I could feel a tickle on the back of my neck that announced his intense gaze. Turning, I found him staring at me with an almost palpable fascination; his eyes sparkled with a mix of tenderness and mischief. "What is Alan thinking now?" I wondered, confused but excited.

Ever since we began our relationship, Alan had been the sweetest, most attentive guy in the world. His tenderness and attention to detail were unmatched; always respecting my boundaries, especially after I confessed to him about my childhood. At the workshop, he no longer stole kisses in full view of everyone; now he would call me into his office or the storage room. There, amidst laughter and conspiratorial whispers, we would sneak kisses. I remember one time in particular: he approached me with that mischievous smile and said, "I need your help with something urgent," guiding me towards his office. Once inside, he gently closed the door and caught me in his arms, stealing a kiss so sweet that I felt as if time had stopped.

Sometimes, those moments would get a little out of hand. His kisses would extend to my neck and our hands would freely explore our bodies, creating a connection that went beyond the physical. Alan knew exactly where to touch me to make me feel like I was floating on a cloud. But he never tried anything more; he knew I still had my fears and anxieties. Sometimes I sincerely wished he would continue, but when I realized what he was thinking, I would turn away in shame.

My jealousy made Alan go stay with Babe. He said he didn't trust himself that much. Even though I worked up the courage and told him I wanted him to stay with me and that I was ready to take that step, if it was in heat. In the heat of the moment, I thought it would be easier to just go with the flow. However, he flatly refused; he wanted our first time to be special and not driven by the heat of heat. "I can wait for you all my life," he told me with such deep sincerity that it only increased my love for him.

After the phone argument with Way, he began to avoid me completely. I was grateful that he did not interfere further in our relationship. Soon after, roses began to arrive for Way; apparently, that date with Beyond, which he had attended for Alan, had brought more than business benefits: Mr. Pete had become smitten with him. Although Way resisted his advances, I could sometimes see him looking at him sweetly as he received the flowers.

Alan had invited me on a date to celebrate our six months together and the year since we met. The unexpected thing was to walk out into the living room and find him with two suitcases at his side while he was smiling like an excited child. I blinked several times, perplexed by his wide smile.

"Don't worry, AiNu," he said cheerfully as my heart raced every time he said that special nickname he only used with me and started using again after we cleared everything up. "I packed your bag and we'll buy whatever we need on the way."
