Y/n's mom died when Y/n was 8 years old. After that, Y/n had to stay with Winston, and she is now eleven. One thing Y/n doesn't know is that her father is one of the most dangerous men on earth, known as the Baba Yaga.

Y/n grew silent after witnessing her mother's death. Some people think she's mute, so Winston homeschools her and hires a tutor. Y/n had always been quiet but was less so around her mother because she loved her dearly.

Y/n's mother's name was Sierra. John had slept with her once, and she was an assassin, just like him. Y/n has her father's glare, smile, and eyes, but everything else resembles her mother. Still, Y/n is more of a spitting image of the father she never knew.

Winston and Y/n share a strong bond, and she loves Winston like a father. Winston has grown to love Y/n like a daughter, but he knows that if John ever finds out and accepts Y/n as his daughter, he might want custody of her.

Winston had promised Sierra that he would take care of Y/n and, if John found out and didn't want her, keep her from knowing. Winston knows that Y/n is very quiet but smart.

Y/n is fluent in Russian, her first language, and Winston is teaching her full English. Y/n killed the men who murdered her mother, and Winston knows she's been filled with anger, something her mother had told him about. John Wick, her father, was also an angry child.

Winston calls Y/n "Firecracker" or "my little grumpy bear." She pretends not to like the nicknames, but deep down, they make her smile and ease her anger. She's like her father—sometimes, the only thing that makes Baba Yaga happy is being with someone he loves.

I pressed the button for the first floor, jabbing it aggressively as the elevator doors took forever to close. Finally, they shut, and I stood waiting for it to hurry up. When the elevator doors opened, I stepped out.

I saw a woman dressed all in black, with black hair, talking to Uncle Charon. A man in a suit stood in line. He looked over at me, and I returned his glance with my usual grumpy stare as I walked past.
"No hello, Y/n?" Charon teased. I waved, and he chuckled.

"Winston is downstairs," Charon said. I walked toward the bar door, grabbed the handle, and pulled it open before heading inside.

John looked up as Y/n exited the elevator, and he saw a grumpy little girl. Her expression reminded him of himself when he was younger.

She had similar features to his own, and something about her looked like a woman he had slept with once a long time ago—he barely remembered her last name, but he recalled her first name starting with an 'S'.

He noticed Charon talking to her, and how she didn't speak but just waved and walked off with heavy footsteps.

I walked down the stairs and saw Winston. He smiled when he saw me, and I headed toward him, feeling hungry.
"Hungry, Grumpy Bear?" Winston asked. I nodded.

"Come sit," Winston said, gesturing to a table with a plate on it. I sat down, and Winston joined me. He lifted the golden cover off the plate.

"Thank you," I said, and Winston nodded. I took a sip of the water beside me. The man from earlier walked toward us, and I looked over at him.

"Jonathan," Winston greeted him. I almost grabbed my corn with my hands, but Winston stopped himself mid-sentence, grabbing my arm and guiding me to use the spoon beside me.

Jonathan sat down, watching as I picked up the spoon and started rocking my leg gently as I ate the corn. I grabbed a small cheeseburger and took a big bite.
