I had told my mom a final goodbye. She kissed my forehead, gave me a tight hug before leaving to work. I can still see figure moving away as she climbs into the car. Looks into the mirror and waves at me . I wave back at her . The car is moving further away from me and I notice the leakage and yet ignored it. I see sparks turning into flames . I neither move nor speak. I hear the screams of my mom. Tears running down my cheeks. This is happening so fast. In no second the car bursts in fire. "Nooooo Mom" I try to shout but my eyes shut open.
I wake up in a swift motion. "Not again the same dream" I say under my breath and move out of the bed and start doing my morning chores. I look at my mother's picture before leaving to the University. I keep it aside and when the thought of Isha's performance strikes me , my smile widens. I get to see her performing today. I know that she is going to rock. I hurry up to the door hiding my blush.
As soon as I reach the door , it swung open and I was not shocked to see who it was. My Brother. I am aware of the reason he is here. Want to take revenge. This asshole never gets satisfied until he ruins my life.
"What are you doing here?" I spat out angrily.
"Don't act too innocent after twisting my arm in front of the whole Uni." He started coming towards me and I stand still with anger. "What do you think of yourself ?? huh!? You ruined my reputation and the respect I earned in there. Students who feared me are now going to call me by my name!!!" He was screaming at the top of his lungs.
Yet I stand still. "Get lost . I need to go if you are done." I say in an irritated voice.
He showed up after years after our mother's death. He disappeared right after she died. He never came back. My father left the town and I had to stay all alone as if I were an orphan. Me and my father would meet occasionally which was formal. Few months later , my brother Arun started to interfere in my personal life. He was trying to get near Isha but I was successful in protecting her. He vanished after a while without notice.
He move more closer to me and takes a deep breath "So you are excited to see your chick. I heard she will be performing tonight. Don't worry , I will make sure that she doesn't reach home safe" A smirk appears on his face.
Before I get a hold of him , he moves out tossing his keys and disappears on his motorcycle.
I hurry and make sure to reach the university before him.
