Few days later, after our mid exams,
"CONGRATULATIONS!! TO US" Sasha screams in excitement while lifting her glass up.
Ayaan then gives a toast , to get our attention.
"On the occasion of achieving the highest in the seminar, I thank all of you,us and the hard-work we have done."
"Yes" Sasha exclaims.
"To us" Yash speaks.
I and Diya chuckle and give high-five .
"That is too formal yaar" I say in between chuckles.
We had given the presentation yesterday. The group that scored highest would get straight A's in the next one. Not only that, attendance would be a 95% (which is mandatory for the future exams.)
Today were the results and our team was announced as the winner. We couldn't believe our ears. We gave our thank you note and met in our dorm.
Here we are celebrating with a cake, and a lot of other food items.
"How about we go on a trip?" Ayaan puts his thought .
"What about college?" Diya asks
"95% attendance?" Yash clarifies her.
"I'm in" I say at the drop of a hat.
"Where are we going anyways?" Yash inquires.
Ayaan gives a wide smile to that. Takes a moment to look at us , watching with a great curiosity. He takes a deep breath and shouts
"KULLU MANALI"
WWHoooOPPP!!! We all cheer up.
"When is the tour starting?" I ask
"Tomorrow!!"
"Tomorrow??" I and Yash say it at the same time. I give him a side-eye and he ignores.
Yash has been ignoring since the garba night. The reason is still unknown. He turned into a deaf ear whenever I approached him.
"What?" Diya continues. "What about the tickets and stuff and moreover shopping?"
"You guys have time till the evening to shop as much as you want cuz I already booked the tickets. We are going by train."
Before we say anything,
"Tsk-tsk tsk" Ayaan clicks his tongue shaking his head. "It is more than enough. You girls have almost half a day to shop. "
"Uugh" Sasha rolls her eyes.
"See you guys tomorrow" Ayaan and Yash leave soon after.
YASH-
THE NEXT DAY,
I and Ayaan reached the railway station waiting for the girls. They were shopping together all day so we had reached the station in time and they started their journey to the railways.
I see Sasha and Diya together but not Isha.
"Where is Isha?" I asked concerned.
"She left before us. She said she had done with her shopping and meet you guys here. Didn't she reach? "
Diya and Sasha start to worry.
Diya tried calling her but she didn't pick up.
I and Sasha tried too but no response.
"What happened? You guys look worried?" Ayaan heads towards us and asks.
"It is Isha. She hasn't come here yet and her cell is switched off." I say.
A tensed environment built up.
