CHAPTER 29

ISHA-

"Would you even care to listen?" I shout while walking towards him.

"What are you doing here? At this hour?" He asks while tilting his head. 

I really missed his voice .

The vex was clear on his face. 

I stay silent . I was trying to clear the difference from days and he was the one ignoring me. He fled away and still does. Do I see concern in his eyes? Yes!

I take a deep breath and resume my talk. "I jus-"

I didn't mind the pouring rain . I only wanted the answers . 

But ,he cuts me off , holds my hand drags me to a shelter. It is a cabin which I suppose. It had a cot, a wooden table, lamp lights , a mini shelf with books , under was a cabinet and  an abstract painting. 

I jerk my hand off of his grip and sit on the cot in front of him. I shake my head slightly in disbelief recalling all the things. I sigh and continue "What is it with you?" I ask him finally. " One second, you seem concerned and the next , you turn cold. One second you talk , then ignore. You seem to be so close to me but the next moment you step far away."  I let out a low scoff. " I really don't understand what seems to be your problem?"  

I stare at him and wait for him to answer but he doesn't speak. He looks away. 

I know that expression on his face! Am aware of what is running in his mind.

I chuckle , reluctantly .

YASH-

Isha was following me , I don't from how long , at this hour, drenched in the rain and now she is talking. Am not sure of what she wanted to talk about not after accepting Ayaan's proposal. 

What am I gonna answer you? Don't know when I fell in love with you. All I need is you by my side. FOREVER . Wanna listen to you chirping all day in that sweet voice, share all the fantasies , cuddle with you, be there for you everytime, every second, want to keep you close to me and my heart. Never ever let you go. Have I told you how crazy you make me?   

I remain silent while all these thoughts grow more and more . She lets out a dry chuckle nodding her head a little. 

" Is this all about Ayaan? " 

I stare at her , Baffled.

" I knew it! " She says in a whisper ,loud enough for me to hear.  She takes a moment and then speaks .

" When you knew it on the very day, you started ignoring me. Instead should have come and talked to me. It was just a misunderstanding . Diya had mistook you for Ayaan. It was you. I had a crush on you in school . I don't know when time passed and the crush turned into love."

The world seemed to stop around me when she said it was 'me' .

"The moment I  realized this mess , tried to clear out everything . I-I ... It was ...." 

She was stammering. I can sense the pain in her voice. I wanna calm her down but I couldn't find any courage to speak . After all it was a misunderstanding.

".....You should stayed or waited for another second to hear me rejecting him. Nope , you did not.  You were in such a haste to run away. Run away from me. "

A tear falls from her eyes whilst standing. " I loved you Yash, and I still do" 

I take time to process what she has said. I stand there in silence and do nothing. She gets to the door brushing off me before I react and storms out. 

Not wasting any second, I follow behind her. She was walking away really fast, I had to run a few steps to reach her. I grip her arm stopping her. I turn her towards me , grab her waist pull her close and KISS HER.
