Next day,
"The assignments will be given from tomorrow. The attendance is a must." As soon as I finish reading to the class ,I hear a big no in union. Everyone starts to murmur and sigh.
I get off of the dais and walk to my place. "Are you sure that attendance is mandatory?" Diya asks again just to confirm. "Yes" I answer her with a straight look.
The professor comes in "He will be continuing in this class as one of the students got transferred"
"OMG!! He looks hot" Diya says poking my arm for me to look at the man beside the professor. I look up dropping my phone with a thud. It's Yash.
He looked at me with same expression I have on my face. Astonished.
I excuse myself and then the teacher asks him to take a seat. "He surely must have fallen from heaven" Diya says drooling at him which I ignore. I can hear other girls too whispering about him. I just keep ignoring these people but somewhere there is slight jealousy building up inside me.
The lecture started . My mind is just filled with things. I try not to take a glance at him but I fail miserably. I can't take my eyes off of him. Not seeing to be a creep, I turn towards the board for a while and then resume admiring him. I can only see him from the side.
My eyes trace from his jawline, lips, tip of the nose , crawling up to his curly hair black hair locks. Can't resist his long eyelashes, his eyes with blue orbs ....I can take a complete view of them..... His eyes..
Oh shoot!!! You have been caught Isha.. He saw you. Turn your head casually!! You can do this.
I look to the front.
Embarrassment takes over me. I wish I could disappear this instant or jump into a pit or creat a sinkhole. Anything would do.!! I scream in my brain
The rest of the day I didn't even dare to turn towards him. We were told that a group of four would be made for projects and assignments would be given .
A boy started reading the names. "I hope we get into the same one" Diya whispered into my ear.
"....Diya,Isha,Yash and..."
The words Isha and Yash caught my attention.
Great!! The embarrassment now continues for a month.
