The blood boiled through her veins like raging waves waiting to engulf everything in their path, drowning them in their flood. While she was frozen in despair from what she has just seen, the scene played over and over in her mind, haunting her for the rest of her life. However her subconscience whispered her to make a move, to run ! Otherwhise she'll end dead just like him, and that's the last thing she wanted to. Then she finally decided to act, and kept going in the direction where she was waited by her promising future, her true path.
But before she can reach the exit of her way, she was hitting by something hard that crossed her left arm, leaving it in blood. But she couldn't feel the pain, because of the adrenaline that her brain was sending out for her body permitting it to mantain it's survival. She kept running to leave her past behind, leave the memories that kept her alive, live what she was destinated to.
Fortunatly she managed to outrun her captors and make it to the end of the city ,where she can rest a little, before they find her again and take her without her will. She had enough time, to let the realisation hit her like a knife. She had lost him, her reason to breath in this dark world full of bad intentions, her half, her twin brother. That hitted her so hard that she was out of breath, hyperventilating. She felt her eyes sting and her vision was now blurred of tears. But she forbided herself to collapse in desperation, not now.
So she blinked to get rid of the unconfortable feeling, taking her bravery in two hands and continued her pass to her destination, without the warm presence she had always felt on her side. She had to do this for him, or his death will be in vein. So she stayed strong not looking behind her back, keeping her head high enough to see the sky that was full of clouds hiding the sun.
This was the beginning of her journey, the journey of the Snowing Butterfly.
