Central Juvenile Prison

In one of the prison cells, there was a duffel bag at the corner, a filled bookshelf hung on the wall at the side and a tidied up bed. The inmate sat at the window, it was an adolescent but this adolescent had a delinquent aura around him.

Well, that's Mordecai, four years after he came in, his baby face is gone replaced with a handsome face that would make any girl swoon, coupled with the piercings on his ears made him look like a villain that chased skirts. His brown eyes took a lighter colour as he sat by the window while looking at the door, his lips curved in a smile.

The prison door opened and two men walked in. O'Brien who looked older with a stubble and a new warden who Mordecai hadn't seen before.

"Yo!, I guess it's time" He jumped down from the window and walked towards them. The other warden placed his hand on his baton as he watched Mordecai.

Mordecai raised his hands in the air as he faked a hurt expression, "Sir, I'm not gonna do anything"

"Don't tease him, he's new and doesn't know your policy, just get the hell out of here" O'Brien chimed.

"Yeah yeah, why do you always have to spoil my fun??" Mordecai sighed as he patted the man on the shoulder and walked out of his cell with the two in tow.

As soon as he walked into the hall, the originally rowdy atmosphere turned silent. Which came as a surprise to the warden, he looked at O'Brien who just shrugged.

I guess this is it... It wasn't so bad after all.

A thought came into Mordecai's head before he shrugged it off and swaggered along the hallway. Looking at the inmates who were looking at him with different expressions on their faces. Anger, fear, relief and dismay.

He stopped before a cell and looked at the man who was clenching the bars tightly as he stared at him with unconcealed malice.

"When I get out of here, I'll find you and pay you back, ten times" The man said through gritted teeth. Mordecai just grinned as he looked at the scalded part of the man's face.

"Anytime... I'll accompany you, anytime"

Mordecai walked on.

Some time later, Mordecai walked out of the prison gates dressed in a black hoodie, ripped jeans and black boots, he hung a bag around his shoulder.

He stood by the road and looked up at the sun and the surroundings.

"It's been four years, huh... I wonder how the are all doing", he mused before he noticed a black mustang parked opposite the prison. Recognising the plate number, his gaze turned cold.

The passenger seat opened, as a woman in business suit came down, with an envelope in her hand. She closed the door and approached Mordecai, the area around the prison was isolated, so there was no need to be afraid of being spotted by anyone.

Mordecai looked at the envelope stretched in front of him, his eyebrows scrunched up.

"In here is a new identity for you, you get to keep your name, but your last name was changed. He has asked that you leave the country within the next four hours, unless you want to die, there is a credit card of six million USD, should be enough to cater for you wherever you go" the woman said with no emotion in her tone.

"A new identity, huh..." Mordecai took the envelope and took out a couple of papers, he looked through them before his smile turned into a condescending smirk.

"... He knows me too well, Price... It has a nice ring to it" Looking at his new ID, he said.

He kept everything back and walked away not sparing a glance at the mustang or the woman whose eyes seem to only hold Mordecai's image in them.

"Wash your neck, cause I'll be the one cutting it!" Mordecai muttered as he squeezed the envelope. "... But first I've got a warden to beat up"

Minutes Later, Solomon's Quarters, Central District

A terrace of buildings was what made up Solomon Quarters, it was more of a number of apartments coupled together.

Room 306, a man sat in the living room, as he watched the news while peeling some apples. His face came to view, it was Otto (A/N: the guy who had beaten up Mordecai when he was just sent to prison).

He looked older, he stopped peeling the apple as he heard the door open and someone walked in.

Without looking up, he asked, "I guess it's today, huh?"

"Remember I told you, If I do not die, you will... But someone vouched for your life, I'll just beat you up and break your hands" Mordecai's cold voice said from behind the man.

"Guess every bastard has a way with words, but you do not have the ability to talk shit with me, after what you did" Otto said which caused a vein to pop in Mordecai's head as he grabbed Otto's head and slammed it into the table.

"You don't get to talk shit with me, when you yourself failed as a parent" Mordecai growled as he raised Otto's head and slammed it back into the table.

Otto gritted his teeth and tried to stab him with the knife to which Mordecai dodged only to receive a punch to the gut, the stab had been a feint.

Mordecai stepped back as he tasted blood, he spat it out and looked at Otto who was standing up from his chair, he threw away the knife, and stared at him with malice in his eyes.

"As soon as you walked through this door, I've made sure to make sure you don't leave here as a breathing body" Otto said before he lunged towards Mordecai who grinned.

30 minutes later, Mordecai opened the door and walked out of the room, he had some bruises on his face and some drop of blood on his clothes but they weren't visible due to the black hoodie he was wearing.

Back at the Juvenile Prison, O'Brien called a man into his office, it was the man that had accompanied him to release Mordecai.

"Sir, you called?"

"Xavier, go to the Warden Otto's apartment and send him to the hospital" O'Brien said with a sigh earning him a confused glance but Xavier adhered to the order.

Xavier couldn't believe the scene he saw on getting to Otto's room, Otto was bleeding from his mouth and his arms were dislocated at several places with some places on his body turning blue. He wondered who could have done this, Otto had gone unconscious from pain.

The culprit was already in a plane going to face a brand new world, he had changed into a gray turtleneck as he stared out at the clouds with a smile.

"Till we meet again..."
