It has been a freaking year guys.
Thank you so much for everything you've done in supporting me and the work I produce, but also in supporting everyone else here, coz I love this community so damn much y'all are the best :))))))
And hey, I figure, gonna do a little spill for my account's birthdays.
No face reveals, sorry I'm not as ready as Gwen or Vivi when it comes to that sort of thing. But I am going to tell you a lot more about me.
My real name's Zach. I'll still go by Crash online though.
I'm located in Sydney, Australia. Every Sydneysider will tell you that Sydney sucks, our train network has regular delays of eleven minutes and the planning of life in general is appalling but hey at least we have a train network, and all things considered, life's not too bad.
I mean, the animals are a thing. There are possums in my cousins' roof that scream like demons at night and I nearly stepped on a tiger snake out on a walk earlier this year so...
ANYHOW you're probably not here for my Sydney rants.
I was born in 2010, I'm not bothered to keep updating this every year, and I'm a middle child :///
Basically, trying my very best to live up to my older sister's legacy, and she got her associate in music award first try (the exam has a 25% pass rate) and she's got a scholarship at one of the most elite schools in Sydney.
I mean, so do I, but I haven't got my associate lol.
Anyways, I play music, and I got up to the level before associate in classical piano before deciding to dabble a little more than I already did.
I learned the drums. I learned the guitar. I learned the bass guitar. I learned jazz piano.
Most of you will know already, but I really like jazz. Thelonious Monk and Aaron Parks are currently my favourite pianists, and the former went insane and died alone with bipolar because everyone deemed his playing as "too dissonant." I really like his sounds, and people tell me my solos are reminiscent of his. I think I'm down a dark and dangerous path. And it's not just me piano-mashing, I have perfect pitch and I know exactly what sort of weird melodies I'm creating when I improvise on a jazz piece.
Now I'm learning saxophone and harmonica.
Anyways, what else do I do?
Oh yeah, I like horror and nighttime games of mafia on camp. So I'm always the narrator and I like making life a little scary for everyone else. I take this into my non-fanfic writing and I'm currently working on something really really meta.
Ummmm what else can I tell you?
Oh yeah, I build Lego, maybe I'll post something sometime. I also have an alternate persona called "spaghetti arms" who is my insane counterpart, using his perfect pitch to figure out what songs and colours people are, randomly spazzing out and also worsening in mental state the longer I am away from an instrument.
Camps are hard for me 👍
Anyways, hope you learnt something interesting. I'll be back with proper updates soon-ish I think.
