Chapter 8

Alexis POV

After the little incident that happened if that's what you wanna call it class was dismissed early and everyone scrambled out making sure to leave at least 3 ft between us when they walk past.
It was the finally the end of this agonising day and I couldn't wait to scope out the place. I swung myself on top of my bike and turned on my GPS to the closest gym which happened to be 'Wolves Den Fitness' what a fucked up name if you want my opinion.
It took less than 5 minutes to get there then again I may have broken some speed limits but oh well.

When I entered all heads snapped towards me, which was really fucking creepy because everyone stopped and was looking at me like I was a lunatic.
I am actually so feed up with waiting for someone. "Who's the manager", I asked in a slightly intimidating way. No one answered and they all just kept staring at me I mean what the fuck is wrong with these people. "What the fuck do I have something on my face", I said with a slightly more aggressive tone. Finally someone speaks up. "G'day lovely watcha doin here", a man who looks at least late 30s comes up to the front. He looked slightly familiar well his appearance did at least. "Hey old man I just want a membership", I said he replied almost immediately with "Sorry kiddo but we only take the best and my men here are pretty tough", I looked at him with understanding because looking around the gym most the guys here were quite tall and buff but I wasn't backing down without a fight.
"Look old man if you want me to prove myself I will fight anyone here just pick a person", he looked shocked and began shaking hIs head when a person from the crowd said "I'll fight her dad don't worry about it", I tried to look over everyone to see who I will be sparring with and you would of never guessed who stepped forward.......it was blondey from class. He stepped beside his 'father' (I knew he looked similar they almost looked exactly the same) and stuck his hand out. "Hi I'm Adam it's a pleasure to met you", I stuck my hand out and shook his "Alexis", then I dropped my hand. Recognition flashed across his face "hey your the girl that smashed Derricks hand", and just like that murmurs started across the gym, "yeah btw he should probably learn to keep his thumb out", surprisingly blondey I mean 'Adam' started laughing and agreed.
"So this fight........." I sorta flowed off. "Oh right dad you can ref I just have to tape my hands I'll be right back", "ok" I mumbled and walked off towards the changing room to get changed.

After I was changed into a black Nike sports bra that had just do it in gold lettering across it and black Nike tights and Nike runners, what can I say I love Nike I headed out into the boxing arena where he was standing by one corner. I looked around and looked at all the people some were giving me lustful looks and thankful some just gave me friendly smiles because obviously if everyone was giving me lustful stares I would probably leave this gym and save up so I can make one in my apartment.
Back to the matter at hand we were both ready and in our corners ready to start.
I want a clean fight and no broken bones", the old man starts, "and BEGIN".

Adam comes up close straight away aiming for a simple left swing but I was faster and dodged it then delivered a blow to the back of his knee with my heel he started to fall but found his balance and turned around and bringing his fists to my stomach that caused me to wobble a bit but I didn't fall I refuse to lose to him and I brought my fists up and swung a left hook to his chin whilst simultaneously giving him a round house kick to his stomach which thankful made him fall.
He got straight back up and tried for a swift axe kick but I dodged and it went like this for a bit us just dodging and attacking and noone could get a hit in.

Suddenly I saw a change in his eyes they had much more gold in them than I could remember. I couldn't help but notice that our pace picked up and he was getting faster and his shots were getting stronger causing me to be sent flying across the ring. I jumped up refusing to see those black dots that I was used to, I promised I promised my self and Ben and Mum that I would not give up ever again that I would fight.
With that in mind I got up as he charged for me I heard a furious loud demanding growl, and suddenly Adams eyes were back to normal and everyone froze to look at the entrance where someone stood.

Fuck I think I just died inside he had gorgeous black hair, enticing emerald eyes and looked about 6'5 and damn was he hot. The look in his eye showed anger and I almost whimpered, what the fuck is wrong with you Alexis control yourself I yelled at myself in my brain. I don't know what came over me.

I must off dozed off for a bit because next thing I know the mysterious dude is beside Adam glaring daggers at him, "Dude I'm-m sorry I-I Di-didn't know she was your-", he was cut off by the hottie 'what don't judge I notice things okay' slamming him into the wall and lowering his head to his ear and whispering something that I couldn't quite here.

The old man from before walked up behind the guy and looked towards me before talking under his breath to the guy whilst the guy glanced back at me. I twasnt till now that I noticed the blood gushing from above my eye and realised that I probably needed to fix that but before I could go anywhere tall dark and mysterious dude came up to me and I almost Moaned at the sound of his voice "uumm hi I'm-m Miller I mean I'm not miller I'm Xavier yeah Xavier Miller", he rambled on and I couldn't help but giggle, me giggle like what those shitty girly bitches do holy fuck what is wrong with me. He doesn't seem to mind though because he looks at me with awe and something else that I can't quite determine.

Suddenly the look changes to a look of concern "what the fuck happened to your eye", I was surprised by his outburst but replied with a chuckle " he got me pretty fucking good but I still reckon I had him", he started to chuckle and I couldn't help but sigh. Then I remembered "hey old man", he turned still a look of astonishment on his face, "yes Luna", he replied. What the fuck I told him my name was Alexis, " old man the names Alexis and can I have the membership now", he stiffened at the sound of my name. "Sure kid but tend to that eye aye you sure did give my son a run for his money", he finally eased up his tense body a bit and I smiled and left with a "whatever old man see ya you too Xavier and Adam. I heard a low growl after I said Adam but dissmissed and kept walking to my bike I hoped on and speed off

This town sure is interesting
