They all watched the ambulance roll past it all took them a second to realize where the truck was going. "Isn't that leading to the party?" Eli asked, following the truck with her eyes the rest of them didn't bother to answer somehow they instantly knew the answer and ran back to the party. Nina saw the paramedics drag Leo's unconscious body into the truck "What happened?!"
𝗙𝗘𝗪 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗦 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥
They all went to the funeral, supporting Jeremiah, Belly, and Conrad as best they could. "Hey, you do need anything," Eli asked, trying to comfort Jeremiah but he didn't say anything he didn't say anything for the entire funeral like the golden retriever boy she knew and loved was gone. The crew that their shit to deal with, Nina worried about Leo in his coma, Carine and Hardin's heavy break up, and the drama between Jere, Carine, and Eli but they all had to keep it together for Susannah's sake.
Later that day, Nina decided to visit Leo Nina sat beside him, holding his cold hand "You're gonna make it I know you can" she whispered slightly squeezing his hand. His parents walked in to check on him Nina and Leo's parents have gotten closer, spending most of their time together bonding over Leo's childhood. Nina left the room to give his parents time with Leo and went to get coffee for herself.
Shortly, his dad joined her Leo's dad looked at her giving her a tiny smile. "Y'know whenever he'd visit home he'd never shut up about you and now I see why you guys have something special, a special kind of love parents could never give to their children trust me Leonardo's heart is strong but his love for you is stronger" he reassured, his eyes tearing up a bit.
Suddenly his mom ran into the hallways, calling both of them in the room. Leo was awake and talking Nina smiled nearly about to cry Leo glanced and smiled at her "You can't get rid of me yet" he laughed. Nina ignored his comment and quickly hugged him his parents left to give them their privacy.
The first few days out of the hospital Leo took it easy and let time heal his wounds and finally reunited with the crew again "Leo! You're back!" Dave yelled enthusiastically, hugging me "Yeah I'm not dead yet" I teased, awkwardly laughing.
Dave smiled so brightly which means he had some crazy idea. "Guyss," he said singly with a stupid smug smile on his face. Luna turned her attention towards him "You're planning something, aren't you?" Luna could always read Dave kinda like belly and Jere's esp. Dave chuckled "I am planning something! There is a a lot of drama in this friend group so I planned a camping trip to clear the air" Dave practically jumped in excitement.
The crew just looked at him, giving the biggest side eye known to man. "What? You're serious" Hardin said snickering under his breath Josie and Luna just straight up laughed at his idea "There is no way I'm going camping" Josie commented, still recovering from her uncontrollable laughter. "What? I think it'll be good for us!" Dave voice's was got high-pitched which made everyone laugh even harder. "Well, I think it's a good idea I love camping" Cam smiled, supporting Dave's idea.
Cam looked over at Josie, giving her those puppy dog eyes. Josie tried to look away for a few seconds but ultimately gave in to his look. "Fine! I'll go" she shouted "Then it's settled then" Dave smiled.
Meanwhile, Carine was completely stuck on Hardin looking at old photos together, and playing his favorite songs, it was clear that she wasn't over him. She was depressed she spent most of her time in her dorm crying, or sleeping she cut off the friend group since she would have to see Hardin. Carine was going about her day as usual, eating in the dining hall and scrolling through old photos of Hardin. "He's cute" a voice from behind her.
