It was early Christmas morning, and Legume was woken from pounding on her door. At the same time, her phone chimed from an incoming message before her alarm clock went off. She slowly groaned as she rolled over and got up. She walked to her door.

Kakarot smiled as he beamed. "Good morning and Merry Christmas, Legume. There are tons of presents under the tree for us downstairs." Kakarot quickly said

Legume smiled before she said, "That sounds great, Kakarot. Give me a few minutes, and I promise that I will be right down."

Kakarot smiled as he nodded. "Okay. Dad and mom said that we can't start opening presents until you come down." Kakarot quickly said.

Legume sympathetically said, "I promise that I will be right down after I check my phone."

Kakarot nodded. "Okay. I will let them know." Kakarot excitedly said before he rushed off.

Legume closed her door before she yawned as she stretched and went over to her phone. Legume took it off of the charger before she unlocked the screen. She had received a text message from Shyla.

Shyla messaged, "I know this is your first Christmas, so I wanted to be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas!"

Legume smiled as she messaged: "Thank you. I hope that you have a Merry Christmas. I will message you back later."

Shyla messaged: "You're welcome and thank. Talk to you then!"

Legume put her phone back on its charger before she turned off her alarm clock and quickly brushed her hair. She went downstairs to where everyone was waiting for her. The presents were already separated in different piles. Every pile, except for Legume's, already had someone sitting beside it. Legume greeted everyone as she entered the room. They greeted her back as Legume headed over to her pile of presents.

Dr. Brief and Bikini looked at each other quickly. "Since this is Legume's and Kakarot's first Christmas, we thought they should be allowed to open one gift each before we get started." Bikini cheerfully said.

Legume and Kakarot grabbed a gift as one of the attendants readied the camera that they were holding. They unwrapped the gift one at a time and showed what they had received. The attendant snapped a picture of each of them. Soon, everyone was unwrapping their presents. The attendant was having a difficult time in keeping up with taking the photographs. Eventually, Tights pulled out a small box and opened it. Inside was a capsule of the latest model vehicle created by Capsule Corporation before it was set to hit the market. Tights thanked Dr. Brief and Bikini. Legume, Bulma, and Tights were gifted a kimono, while Kakarot was gifted a Montsuki. It was explained that they would wear them on New Year's Eve. Everyone received matching sweaters. Legume and Kakarot were also gifted winter training outfits. When everything had been opened, they took a family photo in front of the fireplace. Legume and Kakarot headed to their rooms to get changed for training while the attendants cleaned up the wrapping and started to take the presents to the rooms. When ready, Legume met Kakarot by the back door in the kitchen. They were amazed to see everything covered in snow as snowflakes lazily fell to the ground from the clouds. The doors began to fog up as their warm breath touch the cold glass. Legume opened the door as a cold blast of air rushed in. They squared their shoulders before they rushed out. Everything was peaceful and calm as snow continued to fall. They went to their normal meditation spot before they began to meditate. Halfway in, Kakarot began to shiver uncontrollably as he lost his concentration. He hit the snow with a soft thud. Kakarot looked up at Legume as he shivered. The weather didn't seem to be bothering her.

"H-hey, L-l-l-legume. D-do y-you t-think t-that w-we c-could s-stop t-training early? I-it is s-so c-cold out h-here." Kakarot said as he continued to shiver.
