Mattheo's POV

Dolohov: Wear this

says the man and hands me a grey working suit, I nod and put it on.

Dolohov: We'll attract less attention if we're dressed as ordinary Muggles.

We walk shrouded in the darkness of London's alleyways, following the path the Taboo Curse had shown us to find Potter. A group of drunken names bump into Rowle, who draws his wand and points it at the chubby red man's neck.

Me: Drop your wand, Rowle!

Rowle looks at me scornfully, then pushes the man away, who bursts out laughing with his friends and staggers away. We walk on, the street empty except for the sound of music and people shouting in the distance.

We arrive at a bar and through the glass window we see Harry and his friends sitting there, ready to order. Harry is tapping his fingers on the table, his eyes wandering from the door to the window, unable to relax. Ron, on the other hand, leans towards Hermione, his body a shadow of protection, but even he can't hide the anxiety that pervades him; the only one who seems to be pervaded by anxiety is Hermione, and I admire her for it. Dolohov and Rowle's hands barely tremble, not with fear but with impatience. They can't wait to draw their wands, to taste the terror in their eyes.

Me: I will stay here, they know me. ....

Rowle bursts into a mischievous giggle, looking down at me, Dolohov smirks
Dolohov: It's not that you're afraid of being beaten, Matty.
Me: Maybe you don't remember who my father is.

The smug faces of both disappear and they adjust their uniforms.
Dolohov: We're just kidding, don't take it personally...
Rowle: I can't believe we've got him, Harry Potter, the boy who survived, trapped like a little mouse...

The Death Eater sneers as he enters the café, followed cautiously by his colleague. I watch their every move. But as Dolohov draws his wand, he is attacked by Potter.
Hermione's eyes opened wide and I saw terror cross her face for a single, brief moment before her hand went to her wand. The green flash of the 'Avadakedavra' curse is aimed at Hermione, but she manages to parry it just in time as a table shatters with a dull clatter. Ron rushes up and tries to get between Hermione and Dolohov, but another spell forces him to jump aside.

Harry is quick and dodges every spell Rowle throws at him, but at one point he is hit and thrown to the ground. Hermione runs towards him, but Dolohov aims his wand at her. I pick up my wand and suddenly enter the café. There was only one reason I was there and that reason was at my feet helping my friend to his feet.

Hermione: Mattheo...
She whispers in a worried tone
Dolohov: I was wondering when you were going to decide to join the dance?

I turn to Hermione who looks at me with her big brown eyes, Harry is weak and looks at me with disdain.
Ron: Don't go near them!

Rowle waves his wand with an evil grin and suddenly thick magical ropes appear and wrap around Ron's neck. He pointed his wand at Hermione, who bowed her head towards Harry as if ready to surrender to her fate.
Me: Stupeficium!

Dolohov is thrown behind the bar. Rowle gestures with his wand and points the ropes at me.
Me: Stupeficium totalus!

I lower my wand, watching Rowle, now immobilised and helpless. My gaze shifts to Ron, breathing heavily from the ropes that had strangled him seconds before. Hermione helps Harry to his feet and as soon as my eyes meet hers, the air is filled with suspicion and nervousness.
We turn sharply as the back door opens and the maid comes out with her eyes wide.

Me: GET OUT OF HERE NOW!

She lets out a groan of fear and runs out of the bar, then I go to the windows and close the shutters, turning the 'closed' card. As soon as I turn around, Potter has raised his wand against me.
