I'm bored out of my mind, my sisters are pissing me off, and I haven't heard from y/n all day. She had her interview today so I didn't wanna bother her much today. But no contact at all? That's different. I hope she's okay. Maybe I should call her.

On call
"Hello?" She answered in a low raspy voice.
"Hey!" I said with a bright tone evident in my voice.
"Wassup?" She asked in the same tone.
"Nothing much. Just wanted to see how you were doing. I hadn't heard from you today." I said with a soft voice.
"Aww, you missed me? She asked with a little laugh.
"Maybee" I dragged out.
"I'm good and my bad about that I just haven't really been on my phone." She said with a sweet voice.
"Ohh okay. How was your interview?" I asked being relieved knowing she wasn't ignoring me.
"It was good. They gave me the job." She said cheerfully starting to sound less tired.
"That's great! When do you start?"
"Thursday"
"That's amazing, congratulations."
"Why thank you."

We continued talking about random things and we hung up because we had to eat dinner.
"Do you think y/n is actually gonna take you on a date?" Eli turned to ask me. "I don't know. We haven't talked about it." I said putting my phone down. We finished dinner so my sisters and I were just sitting in the living room. "What do you think she would do if the date is real?" "Uhm I actually don't know. Maybe like a cute picnic or something." Eli just nodded her head starting to think to herself.
I went back on my phone seeing a text from y/n pop up.
