2:30 p.m.

When I arrived at my house I turned off my car making sure to grab my phone and my book bag from the passenger seat. I locked the door and went in my pocket to get my house key. When I opened the door I saw my mother in the living room on the phone. She saw me and it's like she panicked cause she immediately went to hang up the phone. What the fuck.

"y/nnn! ¿Cómo estás mi hija?" (How are you doing my daughter?) She asked walking over to me with her arms out for a hug and a big smile on her face. "Estoy bien." I replied hugging her back. "¿Cómo estuvo la escuala?" (How was school?") She asked with a worried look on her face. "Estuvo bien ma. ¿Estás bien?" (It was good mom. Are you okay?) I asked with a worried look now on my face. "Soy increíble. ¿Por qué lo preguntas?" (I'm amazing. Why do you ask?) She responded the same expression on her face. "Te ves preocupada." (You look worried) I responded scanning her face. "Soy buena." (I'm good.) she responded with a light smile. I decided to not push further and go to my room.

I plopped down on my bed remembering that Demitra texted me.

I decided to take a quick shower since I was still kinda sweaty from gym. And one thing my mama always taught me was to never enter someone's house being funky. I got out the shower and put on a comfortable fit. Making sure it still looked good.
