Leon
After that strange encounter, I decided to take another vist to Edmerald. But all she gave me was a simple smile and said something about me being the leader and all can hear the voices of the wind. Supposedly, that is supposed to help us in the quest. Weird.

When I got back to the mansion, the others were having breakfast. "Hey flamey, where'd ya go?" Caroline asked. Her hair was in a frenzy. Almost like seaweed. "The seaside." I replied simply. She raised an eyebrow at me. "I never knew you were a seaside kind of person." She said. "That's because I'm not." I replied in a monotone voice. She frowned and shrugged. "Oh yeah, Leon? What did Edmerald want yesterday?" Caroline asked. "To be honest, you seemed kinda off lately." Jasper said, stuffing his face with egg and bacon. I looked at the duo. "Since when did you two start to gang up on me?" I asked.

"Gang up with him?! You've got to be kidding me." Caroline spat. "Excuse me?! But what did you just say sea scum?!" Jasper snarled. "You did not just call me sea scum, airhead!" Caroline shot back. "And you did not just call me airhead." Jasper raged. Once again, a argument broke out.

"You just had to say that didn't you Leon." Gwen said. Everyone was staring at them like it was a fighting show. I sighed. "Please stop already." I manage to say. Caroline looked at me, she chided Jasper again and sitting down, huffing.

Lea was eying me carefully. Her look said: we'll talk later. I gulped what kind of trouble am I in this time?"Tell me honestly do you have a crush on Raquel?" Lea asked. "What?!" I replied, a shocked look on my face. "Don't lie to me Leon, I'm smarter than I look." Lea replied, giving me a don't-try-anything-funny look. I gulped.

"Admit it!" Lea demanded. "Never!" I shouted back. Lea huffed in frustration. It was one of those sibling fights again. "Just do it!" She screamed. "No, and since when did you start to support Nike?!" I shouted back. Lea looked confused for a moment before realizing what she just said. Anger was etched on her face. Oops, pushed on the wrong buttons eh? I better get going now, before I don't live to see tomorrow! I quickly took off in the other direction.

"Leon Antonio Faroll! How dare you freaking insult me! I'll get you!" Lea practically screamed like a madman. The others where shooting is weird looks, I mean who wouldn't? We were running around the back garden, Lea screaming her head off at me.

I was actually having fun, until I remembered what Edmerald said. Dread settled in my stomach and I stopped dead in my tracks. Lea stopped too. "What, finally gave up?" Lea asked, her hands on her hips. "No...just that I remembered what Edmerald told me yesterday..." I said. "Tell us about it."

"Are you freaking kidding me?! A quest?!" Caroline shouted, slamming her hands on the table and knocking her chair over. I had just explained to the others about what Edmerald had said. Caroline didn't seem too happy about it. "Well, calm down Caroline." Raquel said. "How, do you freaking expect me to calm down." Caroline snapped. "It's not like you can change anything about this right." Andrew said, his face surprisingly calm. "F-" Caroline started. "Language!" Lea interrupted. Caroline stared daggers at her and sat down obviously pissed.

"I read up about Maiyoa, to get to her castle, we need to get through the walls of gold." Andrew said, keeping that poker face of his. "And how is that bad?" Glen asked. Andrew grimaced. "The walls of gold is not really like how the names suggests it." "Oh, how bad is it?" Gwen asked. "Like it's a corridor, a really long one that could take days to cross, without the monsters of course." Andrew scrunched up his face. "Monsters?" Gwen asked. "Of course there are monsters. What, you think the magical world is all save? Guess what no." Andrew said, the bags under his eyes were showing.

"Okay, so the common monsters are the shadow wolves and the serpents. The hard to beat and rare ones are the dragon and the Phoenix. There are a ton if monsters in the walls of gold totally no pressure." Caroline said, we were all ready to go on an adventure. Yay, how exciting. I probably would never see this place again. Follow the trails left by the ice, water will lead to the caven it lies. The voice of the wind whispered into the warm afternoon air.
