I scowled at Leon. He looked at me innocently. Dumb brothers. Legacy March, why does my life have to be so difficult? "Guys, I need you on deck." Andrews face was pale. We hurried up on deck. Monsters, great, that means we're reaching the walls of gold. How exciting. Dragons, even better.
"Are these like fireproof things?" Caroline asked. "No." Andrew replied. "Good..." I muttered, a scary smirk tugged at my lips. I don't know why, but I just knew what to do. "Jasper, use the winds to make me hover." I ordered. He nodded. I felt the wind get stronger, soon I was floating.
I twisted my body and lit myself on fire. Well, I saw Raquel's look of surprise, before I was blinded by the orange tint of flames. I was a living, breathing, fire tornado. I managed to get Jasper to move me forward and gained speed in the process. Perfect. Impact on the first dragon, well, I killed it. Let's just say, that the rest were shocked.
The dragon turned into a whisp of black shadows before dissolving into the lukewarm summer air. I stopped, my clothes weren't on fire. Cool. I put my hands out in front of me and stuck my tongue out. White hot flames shot from my palms and I swear I felt my element stone glow. Well that explains the flaming red sneakers.
The other dragon gave out a shrill cry and dissolved like the other one. "Who's next?" I asked the deadly monsters, a smile on my face as I narrowed my eyes. I must have looked like a heartless murderer, 'cause when I went back to the ship, everyone looked at me like I was one. I even heard Jasper mumble something about never getting on my bad side. Like what? But true, you don't wanna know what happens when you are on my bad side.
"What?" I asked the rest, I dusted my hands like I just finished spring cleaning and not kill of some weird monster. "That...was...awesome!" Leon raised his hand up like he wanted a five, so I gave him one. And we started laughing. Caroline gave us a weird look. "It's a sibling thing, you wouldn't understand." Leon simply stated. "Did you just sass me?" Caroline looked at Leon like she couldn't believe it. "That's it I'm out." She announced.
"Legacy march?" Andrew asked Leon again. He nodded. "Legacy march is the day where the next generation of elements get the title of elements and is known through the whole of the groove. This year...it clashes with the day Maiyoa wants to attack..." Andrew said. "She's such a party pooper." Glen said. We looked at him. "What?"
"The future seems so bleak, we haven't even manage to get to the walls of gold yet." Gwen said, defeated. "I feel like there isn't any hope at all."Glen continued. "I don't even think we're gonna be able to kill Maiyoa." Jasper admitted. "I don't even want to go there airhead. I get nightmares from it." Caroline said, staring at one spot of the table. That was when I remembered what my mother had said.
"Princesa, don't give up easily, always remember amoureux, hope is so much stronger than fear."
"Hope is so much stronger than fear..." I mumbled, to bad Leon heard it. "Wait, isn't that what madre said?" He asked. "Uh...yeah?" I replied. "Hm." "I guess she's right." Leon started. "Hope is so much stronger than fear." Leon whispered.
