"Sir, don't you think that you're being a little bit too hard on him? He is in love after all." I knew quite well that he was in love, but why did he have to fall for a hunter?

"I'm very well aware of the fact at hand. That's not the problem." Magyar scratched his helmet.

"What seems to be the issue with them?" As much as I hated to see my grandson lonely and sad, that Hunter would eventually cause suspicion in the Coat Of Lions when he doesn't return.

"The longer he stays with us, the more concerns will accumulate in the Coat Of Lions. They WILL come looking for him sooner or later, it's only a matter of time."

"Thanks, for summing that up Onyx." She nodded and Magyar took a moment to process what she had said to him, and then he turned to me.

"What do we do?! You know Caspian won't let you take him away from him, he's stubborn."

"I know, that's why we need a cyni-"I stopped to clear my throat and caught myself before I could say the wrong thing. I probably shouldn't say it's a cynical plan. "I mean clever plan."

The green flames on his horns seemed to grow while he paced the room, the flames danced upon his horns and licked at the air as he rubbed his chin. The stone gargoyle Onyx sat there watching him closely as Magyars many eyes followed his movements. Moving over to the window the warlock hunched over his chin resting in his hands, a deep breathy sigh escaped his parted lips.

"I'm lost, what do I do?" Onyx looked at Magyar who glanced at her too, they both nodded at each other.

"Sir, if I may. Even though you hate Octavius, he can help." The warlock narrowed his ruby red eyes and his reflection was clear as day, Onyx puffed out her stone chest as Magyar continued to speak. "He has many mighty allies rallied behind him, like Azoth and the High Priestess. If we rallied together to defeat a common foe I'm sure he'd help, especially if it means he gets his long deserved revenge."

The warlock sighed he still had yet to face his loyal followers, he knew that Octavius Mordex had become a monster intentionally because of the benefits that came with it. Strength, speed, power, ice abilities and more importantly...the worst of all. . .greed. He was much greedier than when he was human. Straightening up he faced Magyar and Onyx and clasped his hands making them both flinch as the flames grew with his determination.

"I will send a letter to Octavius Mordex immediately, I'll request him to bring ALL of his allies. I'll make him an offer he can't say no to." Snapping his fingers a pice of parchment, quill and ink bottle had appeared before him, the paper and quill was engulfed in a green fiery aura.

Suddenly the pen began to scribble out elegant words on the parchment paper. Dear Octavius Mordex, I have reached the end of my rope. I request assistance from you and your allies, I request a meeting with you to discuss a plan to get rid of a common enemy once and for all. With the fall of the ELO you may have all of their land and take members as prisoners, please consider coming to my aid. Sincerely, Inferno Warlock Volkov.

Snapping his fingers the quill and ink bottle vanished as the letter rolled up a seal appeared followed by a burning green candle, taking hold of the seal he waited for the candle to drip it's hot wax on the letter in his hand. Once there was enough wax he firmly pressed the seal against it, when the seal was pulled back it revealed a beautiful crest. The crest of the that belongs to the King of Batavia, as the candle and seal vanished so did the letter.

"Tell Caspian his hunter can stay, I have a meeting to prepare for. In the meantime guard the castle Onyx."

Bowing respectfully to the Warlock they both exited the room, Onyx's heavy footsteps could be heard as she and Magyar went to the princes chamber. The Warlock loved his grandson, he didn't show it very well because he had grown up in a house with no one to show him love and attention and so that's how grew up to liking it. I can't make up for my past mistakes. . .but I can make a better life for my family, I will provide and protect them.

Meanwhile

"Do you think Caspian will listen to reason?" Onyx shrugged and stopped at a large regal door.

"I mean we'll see, your first." Magyar rolled his many eyes as Onyx stuck out her big tongue in a snarky gesture.

Raising his armoured hand he knocked one. . .no answer, two and three times. On the third knock a worn out Lucien answered the door, his eyes were heavy as his mind caught up with him and he smiled revealing his mini fangs.

"May we come in? We need to speak with Caspian." Stepping aside he let them in as Caspian just emerged from the bathroom towel wrapped around his waist, his hair was a mess as he rubbed it with another smaller towel.

"Oh hey guys, sorry for the delay, I was just showing."

"It's fine, the master changed his mind." Caspian and Lucien exchanged a look, then Caspian was hit with a wide smile.

"He really changed his mind. . .thank you Thor!"

"Hold up so I can't stay now?"

"No! It means that you can stay, I was kind of supposed to kick you out by now but I didn't want to." Striding across the room he hugged Lucien and kissed his cheek.

"We also talked about a plan. . .Octavius Mordex and his most powerful followers were invited to a meeting in which to discuss a proposal for a temporary alliance with them."

"Like who?"

"Well people like Dusk, Volkov, Octavius Mordex, Xull, Azoth, Joseph Cross, The Priestess, myself and Onyx. Definitely some other people" Magyars inner deep eerie voices began to chatter excitedly. "So much chaos is coming ore way!" A deeper one laughed as Magyar sulked in embarrassment. "War, such a beautiful scene!"

"So did Gramps need me?" Onyx shook her head.

"No, we just have to wait." Everyone turned their attention to Caspian as he clapped his hands a few times.

"In the meantime, let's play an icebreaker game! A good way for you three to get better aquatinted!"

Magyar shrugged and sat down at the foot of Caspian's bed while he and Lucien sat comfortably on the bed, Onyx grabbed one of the fancy beanbag chairs and lay on the floor her head resting on the beanbag using it as a pillow. "Okay Magyar, what's your favourite thing to do? Start with C."
