My Hero Academia: The Next Generation (Season 1)

Chapter 2: Top 10 Heroes

It's 12pm now and everywhere is alive in Japan as today the hero billboard chart for the year is going to be announced. Most heroes of Japan as well as some government officials, Hero Public Safety Commission (HPSC) personnel's and other very important people of the country as well as some few citizens are all present inside a big auditorium.

"It's a bright afternoon in Japan as we are all gathered here for the announcement of the hero billboard chart. I'm reporting live from Shinjuku at the All Might event center and as you can see a whole multitude of people are all gathered inside waiting for the announcement" said a reporter woman. "I have here with me now the hero Ingenium as he is making his way into the auditorium. Ingenium sir it's a pleasure ".

lida is standing side to the woman in his hero costume but without the helmet. "Thank you Miss but the pleasure is all mine" he said

"Ingenium last year you were ranked 24 and from that time till now, you have engaged in tons of heroic acts. Do you expect to be in the top 10 now?" She asked.
"Well Miss?" He said
"Kaori!" She said.
"Well Miss Kaori, being in the top 10 has never really been a dream of mine. Of course I along with my fellow peers all strive to become the best but what is our focus as heroes is to ensure that Japan and everyone in it continues to live in peace" he said. "And I want to remind everyone, that despite whatever outcome happens today we must always continue to reach out our hands to help both heroes and civilians".
"Inspiring words as always Ingenium. Thank you" she said giving lida a handshake.
"Please! Thank you" lida said receiving the handshake before putting on his helmet and moving toward to the auditorium.
"A heartfelt speech from our hero. More interviews to come so stay tuned" she said as she motioned for the camera man to cut.

Inside of the auditorium, a lot of people are seated as smoke is seen on stage and a woman in suit appears holding a mic.
"Hello everyone!" She said as the whole crowd cheered. "my name is Sakura Amado, and I am a member of the HPSC and your host for this year event. Are we all excitedddd"

The whole crowd yelled again as she continued. "A hero is one who constantly put his body and life on the line to ensure that we all continue to live in peace. And just like any field, there is bound to be competition with everyone trying to make it to the top so today as we release the hero billboard chart, we announce right here the top 10 heroes!!" She yelled gaining another cheer from the crowd.

Inside a room in the building, we see some heroes present as they are discussing a few things. A man on some wires walks in "we are about to start get to your places heroes" he said as he closes the door. The heroes gets up and walks out of the room.

"Now then, let us begin. Starting at number 10, we have a hero who has done an amazing job on stealing the hearts of the people. She is an inspiration to women out there and has promoted child quirk education all around the country. If you're worried or scared then don't be cause she makes all your worries and pain weightless, it's Uravity". She yelled as the whole crowd cheered. Uravity makes her way to the stage in her hero costume and helmet on. She waves to the crowd.
"Thank you all, I promise to continue to do my best" she said in her cute voice as everyone cheered some, yelling her name.

The cheer died down as Mrs Amao continued "coming at number 9 is a hero filled with passion. The Symbol of Passion as some call him. Hope you are firm on your seat cause this hero is about to blow you away, it's Gale Force".

Everyone cheered as a small gust of wind was felt and from the sky, Yoarashi makes his way to the stage landing at the side of Uravity. "hahaha, thank you all!" He said.

The wind threw Mrs Amado off a bit but she picks herself up as she continues "told you all" she said gaining some laugh from the crowd.
"Sorry about that" Yoarashi said rubbing the back of his neck.
She places the mic back near her mouth as she continues "coming at number 8 is a hero who despite his personality doesn't fail to get the job done. He may be shy but his skills are no joke. He is a member of the Big 3 Hero Agency and everyone's favorite shy kitten, it's Suneater".
