Ryou used his ice to slide down the walls of what looks like a cave as he continued to fall down. He was getting close to the end and made an ice slide as he landed perfectly. Tatsuo used his wings to stop himself before the ground and Akio just landed to the ground directly hardening his body with Denji on his back. Mirai landed a few seconds later and Reiko landed last, using her flames to stop herself before she hit the ground.
"Didn't think you'd follow us down sis" Ryou said looking at his sister smiling.
"Well someone has to keep track of y'all" she said as she started looking around the place. "what is this?" she said.
They were now what looks like an underground cave. The place was well lighted and there was a walkway in front of them.
"Well let's keep going" Akio said taking a step forward. They all started moving, Reiko hesitating a bit but still following them.
Mirai brought out her tablet again and sent her drone flying to collect more info. "something is definitely down here from what I'm seeing, I'm detecting multiple life forces" she said.
"Hmmm maybe it's the people in charge?" Denji said.
"Maybe but it's too much if you ask me". "hmmm?" She said widening her eyes. "There seems to be an elevator ahead".
"Really? That's odd" Reiko said.
"We should check it out" Ryou said as he started running towards the end. They all ran after him.
"Hey wait up" Reiko yelled running after her brother.
They got to the elevator a few minutes later and it seemed like any normal elevator. They stood there for a sec wondering where it could be leading to before Akio walked up and pushed he button, making the doors open. The elevator door opened and it was empty.
"Well let's go in" Akio said walking in. They all followed in and closed the doord.
"So which floor?" Tatsuo asked.
"Let's just head over to the last one" Ryou said as he pushed the number 5 on panel.
The elevator started dropping slowly and they all just stood in waiting, some excited for what they are going to see and some a lil bit concerned.
Inside of an observatory room, there are computers showing the kids in the elevator. Two men are seated while handling their keyboards and a man on suit is standing, watching the kids on the screen with a smile on the face.
"Well would you look at that, kids of famous heroes have come to play with us" the man said grinning.
"Should we send some people to get them? They are headed to Experiment 3056RU" said one of the media men.
"Let them be, we'll let him handle it" the man replied as he continued to stare at the screens.
The elevator reached the floor five and the door opens up to reveal a passage way with metal surrounding everywhere. Everyone is shocked at this and confused cause it looks like an entirely different place. They walk out of the elevator and starts looking around.
"Ermm, where is this?" Tatsuo said.
"I don't know but this doesn't look like some haunted house anymore" Denji said looking around.
Mirai tapped her tabler screen again. "we are 50m below the ground level now" she said as she kept typing something on her tablet.
"That deep?" Reiko asked surprised.
"Yep" she said.
They all just stared at where they were now before they started hearing footsteps approaching. Reiko motioned for all of them to hide and they all went to hide at the back of a big rock. Reiko then peeps forward to see who is coming and she is shocked as she sees two men in some sort of black military suit holding guns. They walk into the hallway the kids are in but do not notice them.
"Man monitoring these kids are is no easy job" said one of the men.
"I know right. Like they are already locked up in their pods what bad thing could happen to them" the other one said.
"Tell me about it. I'm glad that they will be transported today". The first one said and they started laughing. Reiko widens her eyes in fear as she now realizes what is going on now.
They both laughed a bit before pushing the elevator button, as the door opens and they walk in the elevator. The elevator starts moving upwards and the kids all comes out of their hiding place. They look at each other in shock.
"H-Hey what were those men talking about?" Tatsuo said still trying to process what he just heard.
"Isn't it obvious? This is where those kids that went missing are kept" Reiko said in a serious tone.
"B-But how? This is supposed to be a haunted house right" Denji said.
