Ella's POV:

The sun was bright and warm, shining down on me as my brothers and I stepped into the zoo. My heart pounded with excitement and a little nervousness. There were so many people, so many sounds! The big gates of the zoo towered above me, and my tiny hand clung tightly to Noah's fingers. I never liked big crowds, but Noah smiled down at me, squeezing my hand gently.

"You ready to see some animals, munchkin?" Noah asked, his voice warm and soft.

I nodded shyly, my eyes wide as I tried to take in everything all at once. People bustled around us, families laughing, children running past. My brothers stayed close, surrounding me in that protective circle I knew so well. I felt safe, even though the world outside our little bubble was big and scary.

"Where should we go first?" Lucas asked, ruffling my hair gently. He was the tallest of my brothers, towering over all of us like a giant. He always made me feel safe, just by being there.

Aiden, the one who always made me laugh, pointed ahead excitedly. "Let's go see the lions! Ella, you're going to love them! They're so cool and they roar so loud."

Lions. I wasn't sure if I liked the idea of roaring. My little hand gripped Noah's fingers even tighter, and he bent down slightly, catching my nervous glance.

"Hey, don't worry, kiddo. The lions are behind glass. They can't get you," Noah reassured me, his voice gentle.

I nodded again, trying to be brave. I wanted to see the animals, even though the world was big and overwhelming.

As we walked through the winding paths of the zoo, I felt the excitement bubbling up inside me. The first animal we saw was a huge elephant. I gasped, tugging on Noah's hand as I pointed toward the massive creature.

"Noah, look! It's so big!" I squeaked.

Noah chuckled. "Yeah, that's an elephant. They're the biggest animals on land."

"Do you like it?" Aiden asked, coming to stand beside me. He crouched down to my level, his eyes full of curiosity.

I nodded, my eyes glued to the elephant as it slowly lumbered across its enclosure, swinging its long trunk from side to side. Its big, floppy ears looked soft, and I wondered if it could hear everything with those ears.

"Do they talk to each other?" I asked quietly.

Aiden's face lit up, always ready to teach me something new. "They do! They're super smart, too!"

I stared at the elephant in awe, trying to imagine what it would sound like if it talked. We watched the elephants for a while, and my heart felt lighter, the nervousness slowly fading away.

Next, we visited the giraffes, and they were even taller than Lucas! I giggled as one stretched its long neck to reach some leaves at the top of a tree.

"They have long necks so they can reach food high up," Xander explained, coming to stand beside me. His twin, Xavier, was already busy reading the sign about giraffes, always so focused.

"They're so tall," I whispered, watching the giraffe as it chewed lazily.

Lucas chuckled, resting a hand on my shoulder. "They sure are, but not as tall as me, right?"
