When Ryoko was borne she was borne to Orochimaru one of the famous Sanin, and Tatsumi Minashigo, a runaway from the Hidden Cloud. The couple didn't expect to have twins but were nonetheless delighted. Orochimaru had been an excellent father to the twins for much of the early parts of their lives. He taught the children how to use ninjutsu from a young age, each of them having the advantage of him being their father. They were blessed with rich chakra reserves in the way he had them. But his curiosity of the twins grew when he recognized they were learning very differently from one another. His son, Kujira, was a bit more physically developed and could catch on to things that required physical strength. While Ryoko was very mentally and charismatically developed. She was capable of learning jutsus at a much fast rate than her brother. She was his golden goose. She would prove to be very beneficial to him when she grew to be a full-fledged shinobi.
