Melody lands on the cold snowy ground, and starts to cry harder. A couple and their son that was nearby heard the baby's wails and quickly started trying to find the baby. When they find the crying baby they see melody. The red headed female quickly picks her up and holds her close trying to calm her down, melody stops crying and stares up at the woman. The woman smiles at her, and so does the woman's husband. The man notices a piece of paper sticking out from her blanket that she wrapped in and pulls it out. They see that it says melody. The man and woman smile, hello there melody, I'm sorry that you were left out here all alone, but don't worry we'll take care of you. The baby coos and reaches her arms up and holds Lilly's finger with her tiny hands. Little smiles at the adorable action of melody. They take melody home and warm her up. The next day they go to gringotts and adopt her.

melody is now 1 year old

Melody is sitting beside the arry on the dresser, the pink birthday hat from melody's birthday party laying beside them. Lilly and James decided to make the day they found melody her birthday. Serious is down stairs warning James and Lilly about Voldemort and how he's coming for them. Serious leaves and Lilly rushes up stairs and starts to get the children's things gathered, but theirs a huge bang from down stairs signalling that it's to late and Voldemort already here. Lily hears the vile person yell the death curse, and James body fall to the floor. Lilly hold the children close whispering loving things in their ears as she's crying scared for the lives of her children. Voldemort makes it to where her and the children are and Lilly stands Infront of them protectively. Without a 2nd thought Voldemort kills lilly. Melody and harry start to cry. Voldemort scowls at them both and shoots the killing curse at them, but it reflects off them and toward Voldemort, right before Voldemort turned into black smoke he saw melody's eyes glowing and electric blue.

he disappears into black smoke. Hagrid arrives soon after to pick up harry and melody, he takes them to Dumbledore who's standing beside Minerva outside of a house on little surrey. Dumbledore sits the children down in a basket, and puts a card on top of them that holds their names. The lightning bolt scar on Harry's forehead, and the star on melody's cheek were very visible.

9 years later

Harry is now 11 and melody 10 years old. They have grown super close. And while harry sleeps under the stairs melody sleeps in the basement.

Melody's POV:

I wake up to petunia banging on my door, telling me to start cleaning while harry cooks breakfast. I quickly get up and put on one of the dresses that petunia makes me wear along with the shoes.
