James gets up from the table to confront the strange man that had been following them from the petrol station all the way to the restaurant until Kristy grabs his hand and pulls him back into the seat at the table.
"What the fuck are you doing James"
"Well I'm not going to sit here and do nothing am I"
"They'll call the police James"
"And?"
"Just shut up and leave it alone for fuck sake"
Right as Kirsty finished speaking the waiter arrives with their food and they sit and finish their food until they are ready to leave while James regularly looks over his shoulder to check on the strange man.
"Are you ready to go then James"
"Yea just give me a minute to finish my drink first"
They then get up and leave the restaurant making sure to leave the waiter a big tip with the strange man again following behind them soon after once they leave the restaurant door.
"Oh you've got to be joking he's still there"
"I'm sorry I've got to say something"
He storms over to the strange man to confront him while Kristy tries to stop him.
"No James don't"
"JAMES!"
"JAMES!"
"Listen here mate what the fuck is your problem"
"No problem here mate I don't know what your talking about"
The strange man said to James with a smug attitude in his voice.
"Well you've been fucking following us for the past 2 hours all the way from the petrol station"
"Nah mate I don't know what you're talking about...James"
"Great, so you know exactly who the fuck I am that's not new to me pal get in line"
"How about you go back to your sister and drive away"
"Yea I'm sure you'd love that so you can follow us even more"
"I already told you I don't know what on earth you are talking about"
"What's my name"
"What?"
"What. Is. My. Name"
"It's James?"
"James what"
The strange man stays silent with his arms crossed and a smug grin on his face.
"I'm James Maverick and I'm telling you now to walk the fuck away and stop trying to scare me and my fucking family do you understand"
The strange man's face immediately drops into a look of surprise along with the smug grin and cocky attitude
"Don't just stand there and fuck off back to your car, if I see you following us I'll get out the car and drag you from yours with alot more than just some words that I promise mate"
The strange man stays silent and heads back to his car as well as James, the strange man sits there for a for while biting his nails out of anxiety and watching James head back to Kristy in the car.
He slowly drives off making sure Kristy and James are long gone to avoid any more confrontations by mistake and heads into the countryside up a back road towards an old farm house.
He arrives at the farm house, jumps out of the car then sprints towards the door swinging it open as fast as he can and continues running through the farm house and up the stairs into the office room
"WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU TELL ME IT WAS JAMES MAVERICK"
"Your job was to follow him and his sister from the petrol station to find out where they live"
"Not to know personal details so stop complaining and tell me you did your job properly"
"Well obviously not because they fucking saw me"
"He threatened me"
"You made me follow James Maverick are you stupid or what"
"Oh stop moaning, James Maverick is done.
"He has no money and no connections left he thought he could find a way out and fuck us all over without any consequences"
"No connections?"
"Were talking about the same person right?"
"You know exactly who and what he is he will kill all of us"
"I'm out you can keep your fucking money I'm not working for a mad woman"
"No I don't know what he is sir but what I do know is what he used to be, and now he's nothing but a traitor with a price on his head"
"Literally just why, everybody else is either dead or in prison"
"Yes they are sir but James Maverick isn't as smart as you all think, would you like to know why?"
"Sure...why the fuck not"
"Because James Maverick did not account for me he only dealt with his own people so he could run away and be a little do gooder with his family"
"What has that got to do with us?"
"How long have you been working for us now"
"Three maybe 4 years now"
"You've been here long enough to know that if you fuck one of us you fuck all of us, we had multiple shipments coming through the docks arranged by the people James Maverick either had killed or put away to deliver right to us for an enormous price tag and they're not coming back any time soon"
"If they talk or the police sieze those shipments we are all fucked my dear sir,James Maverick has set us all up for failure for his poor little family"
"And THAT! Is what it's got to do with us"
"Not me,I'm a free lancer and I only work for the highest bidder so unfortunately for you I'm out"
The strange man turns around and walks towards the door and in that very moment two men dressed in black suits wearing ski masks enter the room and grab him.
"You see we can't have you walking off on us like that knowing all you do now can we?"
"Lay him down and slit his throat."
