There comes a time when a change has to happen. Amina sat in the passenger van with the children and the women. Alastair and Einar are in the moving truck ahead of them. It had been a year since they had come to this new world and had to adapt quickly. The Now 22 year old goes by Amina Vormund and was still taking her job of watching the kids very seriously. She still didn't sleep from what occurred and she seemed to be the only one who saw what happened. She spoke in an even more monotone manner then before. She reached over a sleeping child and tucked the blanket around them.

"Remind me where we are going to." Amina said out to the ladies in the car.

"We're going to Central City. This the best opportunity we could for Einar to become a detective and Alastair is becoming one as well plus we'll be running the store we're opening and you'll look after the kids." Branwen said briefly looking at Amina in the rearview. Amina hummed in response debating what to do while they travel.

"You should get some sleep we still have a ways to go." Silvana said looking at her.

"No offense but I refuse to sleep right now. We are moving and danger could be at any corner. So thanks for the offer but no I'll be staying awake." Amina Said doing a scan of the outside the van before checking each kid.

"I wish you would talk to someone about what you saw that day. I know you won't tell us or even Alastair, but you really should talk to somebody." Branwen said looking at the poor girl. They have no clue what happened other then got attacked and Amina saw most everything.

The group went silent minus the cooing of Nascha and Nesrin. They were content with their snacks that Amina made sure were prepped by her hands. All the kids had snacks and drinks prepped for this trip. Aeron was munching on some berries while he read some book he got at there last stop.

"Not a fan of this so called magic book. Its quite stupid. It doesn't even go over the basics of magic." Aeron said closing his book.

"I told you the magic here is not like our magic, but make sure you keep you magic under wraps." Amina said staring at Aeron when he looked back.

"Yes Protector Amina." Aeron said knowing not to argue with her. His blonde curls moving as he nodded his head.

"We're stopping to fill up the tanks and use the restroom. Amina will you be on bathroom duty today?" Fay asked.

"I will." Amina said. They pulled up to the gas station. All the kids file out of the vehicle. Amina led all the kids into the station and had them use the bathroom.

"You kids can pick out 1 snack and drink each." Amina said watching the older kids quickly grabbed theirs so Amina could help the younger kids select theirs. They went and checked out. They all filled back into the van afterwards.

"Has she opened up at all or even slept?" Alastair asked.

"No she refuses to sleep claiming danger could be anywhere. She still won't open up about the attack." Branwen tells her husband. They watched Amina get all the small kids back in there seats. Once the kids were settled Amina sat constantly watching. Alastair sighed seeing the poor girl on alert.

"Maybe this city will be the change she needs to come back." Fay said looking over the van. Einar walked up and kissed the top of Fay's head. He remembered the kid used to be full of joy but now she went from just monotone to devoid of emotions.

Everyone loaded back into the vehicle and finished the 4 hour drive to Central City. They pulled up to the outskirt of the city and pulled up to the large house. The truck pulled up closer to the doors. The kids were excited to be done with drive and excited to see their new home. The older kids run into the house to look at everything before the furniture got brought in.
