"I met you at Jitters, Right?" Amina asked looking at the man in front of her. She still didn't get a great look at him.
"Yes I'm glad you remembered. I was hoping to see you again. I mean not like this but I am happy to see you again." Barry said getting excited. He was looking at her but couldn't quite seem to notice her avoiding his gaze.
"Well since you are gonna begin acting like a person from here. Time for you to eat some food; You haven't eaten in at least two days." Alastair said. Amina looked at him about to argue but couldn't justify not having a meal.
"Well I'm heading to get some food if you want you can join me." Barry said inviting Amina.
"Did Fay make food or are you all eating out again?" She asked.
"Eating out didn't have time to shop for groceries yet." Alastair said Amina shook her head at him.
"Barry if the offer stands yes I'll join you to get food." Amina said looking at Barry.
"Absolutely. I know a great place." He said quickly walking ahead of the girl and waving her to follow.
After the two had left Alastair looked at Cisco. They briefly held eye contact. Everyone looked at each other and seemed to have the same thoughts.
"So they had opposite eye colors." Iris said out loud once they were gone.
"I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed. It's not a for certain but they looked similar." Caitlin said handing a bag to Alastair filled with Amina's clothes. He accepts it.
"So what day job she we get her?" Cisco asked out to the room.
"Well I would like her to work somewhat near me when I start at CCPD in a few days time." Alastair said. Joe perked up at hearing that.
"Wait so your one of the new starts. I can try and pull some strings and have her work in the CSI unit. Its low risk and she would be able to leave if she was ever needed but would occasionally go on the field to collect evidence." Joe said smirking at the thought of getting another person on the CSI team to relieve pressure of Barry and see if their hypothesis is correct.
"Actually that would work. She did help a couple times on hunting trips before we came here when she was training to become a protector." He said nodding.
"Then I will pull some strings. I'll tell you in a couple of days." Joe said in reply.
"So you brought me to Belly Burger." Amina said looking at the menu behind the cashier.
"Yes I figured it was the most filling that has a location near the city limit. So tell me about yourself." Barry said opening a burger and eating a fry.
"You know my whole story already what is there to tell?" Amina said grabbing a fry.
"Well I know your history. I mean stuff like what's your color, music, or even flowers." He said biting into his burger afterwards.
"Oh. Well I guess I'm partial towards natural tones with a dash of light blues. I haven't exactly figured out if I like any music in this place, but I loved Lyres back home. Now Flowers is different I adore hydrangeas but I love seeing bellflowers." She said eating more fries.
