Chapter 6 Scrapyard

- No. This was their unfortunate reality. They were lured into this hotel, but... could you even call this a hotel anymore? This shit is just a death trap. And it didn't take long for Foldy to realise at all.
And so Foldy closed her eyes tightly, holding back her tears as she leaned her weary body onto the wall behind her.
"Foldy?! What happened!!?" Someone suddenly yelled, slamming their door open upon hearing Foldy's weary screams.
"Pin...?" Foldy responded quietly as she turned to the worried thumbtack.
"Are you okay?! You were... screaming! It's pretty early in the morning too..." Pin asked fearfully, observing her surroundings before finding the cause for Foldy's screams...
Her heart sank to her feet, a throbbing pain going through her body as she looked towards the poor girl's corpse, her body so lifeless and cold to the touch, you could almost see her cyan colour fade.
"Oh Foldy..." Pin muttered quietly as she walked up to the girl, kneeling down to her feet before wrapping her arms around her.
The warmth of her hands radiated through Foldy's weary body as she felt her heartbeat progressively slow down, her muscles relaxing as she felt her eyes water up, the tears flowing down her face softly before she let out a loud and painful cry.

- That hurts... like a knife to the gut.
...
"Hm. It seems she died from a wound or something..."
Wha... What's going on?
"I don't care about that, I just want to know if she's okay!" A fearful, yet exaggerated voice called out loudly.
"Well, Liy. I don't really know how to say this without coming off as insensitive, but the girl's dead." The other one replied coldly.
Foldy looked up.
What...? Where did this huge crowd come from? She thought to herself, a bit shaken up by the amount of people who were suddenly flooding through the hallway, each and every one of them too eager to know what happened to the bracelet.
"Wait, what?! But-"
"How can you possibly think that the girl is still alive?! She's smeared with blood all over! Clearly whoever did this is a heartless... cold... scum..." She hissed back as she turned towards Foldy's line of sight, her figure becoming more clear through the herd of others.
"Golf Ball, can't you at least help? I don't want her to die!" The familiar voice cried out in response, a voice all too familiar.
"Oh my gosh Liy, I already told you! The girl is dead!"
"Yeah, there's nothing we can do!" Tennis Ball awkwardly chimed in before receiving death stares by pretty much everyone else.
"Yeah, I wonder why this is even happening in the first place, right Tennis Ball?"
"PEOPLE! The only way we can get her back is if we find a recovery centre hidden somewhere in this place."
"But... I'm a Death... hmgh... P.A...uehh... C.T... member! It's my duty!" Liy struggled to blurt out, slightly gagging as if she was holding back.
"Well, that doesn't matter right now."
Foldy got up on her feet, slowly looking around before being grabbed by someone.
"Foldy! Are you okay now? I'm sorry if I made you upset." Stapy said, the guilt being clear in his voice as he spoke.
"It's okay. That... isn't even important right now." Foldy responded quietly, furrowing her eyebrows before shaking off his grip and turning back.
Foldy's eyes fixated back onto Bracelety's lifeless body, her heart filled with nothing but horror and pain as she closed her eyes. But before she could even think of a thing...
"Hey guys! Missed me?" That voice called loudly from out of the speaker once again before being clouded by the eerie silence.
"Oh my gosh, really guys? Not cool!" They huffed before receiving no reply again.
"..."
"Will you just hurry u-"
"WELL OBVIOUSLY I WAS! O-M-G..." The voice on the speaker snapped with a loud screech before clearing their throat once again.
"Anyways guys... I wanted to treat you with something before we start exploring this hotel together!" The voice said, excitement creeping up in their voice as they could be heard holding what seemed to be a microphone closer.
The air went thick with impatience as the person on the speaker quietly waited.
"I'd like to introduce you all to the.... dun dun... swimming pool!" They cheered loudly as a door suddenly appeared on the left.
"You guys have 1 hour and 30 minutes! Enjoy!"
...
"Yay! Grassy wants to go sw-"
"No Grassy." Basketball grunted quietly as she grabbed onto his hand, walking back to their bedroom before slamming the door shut.
Tennis Ball sighed as he watched everyone silently walk back to their rooms, his stomach going numb with guilt.
"This is all my fault, isn't it..." He groaned.
"Don't focus on that right now, we instead have to focus on getting everyone out of here!" Golf Ball replied with a serious expression on her dimpled face.
"How are you even talking to me?! I'm just a murderer." He uttered in response as he looked to the side.
"You idiot! Don't beat yourself up about something that's not even your fault! As soon as we find recovery centres, we initiate a plan and get out of here! Now, come with me ok? We need to start working on our plan!"

"LET GO OF ME!" She screamed on the top of her lungs, kicking him hard on the wrist before running for the door.
"Foldy...?"
...
"Bracelety... Bracelety..." Foldy repeated her name worriedly as she opened the door, looking around the halls.
It didn't take long for her to notice...
"BRACELETY?!" She shrieked loudly as she locked eyes with the incapacitated body which lay opposite her. The cold shell that was once such a lively and energetic soul was now reduced to this.
...
This is a dream... right? Just a dream...!
...
Right?

"Woah, your art is so cool! How'd you manage to colour her so accurately?"
"I closely analysed each shade of blue on Ice Cube!" She smiled.
What an innocent smile.
"Oh uhm..."
So strange, yet so unique in her own way.
"Strange." She muttered under her breath quietly before turning back to the cyan bracelet who was calmly swinging on her chair.
"Well, you seem pretty amazing Bracelety! Wanna be friends?"
"F...Friends? Not a lot of people ask me that... Do you really?!" The bracelet quickly replied with a shocked expression, her eyes slightly watering as she stared back at Foldy.
"Well of course, why else do you think I asked you?" She laughed, her friendly chuckles echoing in the bracelet's head as she felt a tear slip down her cheek.
"Oh thank you so much Foldy!" Bracelety exclaimed, jumping from her chair as she suddenly burst into tears, engulfing the origami in an unexpected hug.
"I... I wish I could hug you back!" Foldy blurted out, stunned as she awkwardly stood there.
"I'm so dramatic aren't I... that really means the world Foldy, thank you so so very much!" She responded, letting go of Foldy and jumping back onto her chair as she wiped the tears off her now damp face.
"Of course, you're such a cool person!"
"Hehe!"
