I'm back! :D Crazy I know...
Take some fluff before I write even more angst :)

Rei expected a lot to happen when John and Kuyo were left together unsupervised.
How could he not after everything that had happened?
What had happened exactly? Well, there are way too many incidents that had been directly caused by the two wild hooligans that Rei can no longer name them all.
A particular incident that still sticks out for him, though, is when Kuyo had snuck John into the chem lab when the blue-haired doofus was nearing the end of his first year in college. It was shortly after they first properly met, Rei not wanting to introduce John to the older boy beforehand because of Kuyo's previous distaste for low-tiers. After the greenette had knocked some sense into him, however, he finally introduced the bluenette to his little brother properly. Sure, John was no longer a cripple at that point, but Kuyo had started seeing the world in a new light, and began to despise the major inequality between tiers as much as Rei did. He had become a much more caring and compassionate person and Rei couldn't be prouder of his friend's amazing growth.
That's why the greenette decided he was the perfect person for John to put his trust into outside of his family. Because John didn't trust anyone, especially after he came back from his readjustment classes. He desperately needed to see that people outside of his adoptive family weren't all evil and cruel.
Long story short, John and Kuyo, the two wild little sh*ts, had ended up causing an explosion within the chem lab which ended up setting the place on fire as a destructive result to God knows what sh*t they had mixed together. Bunsen burners were definitely involved, though.
Overall, the ravenette and the bluenette hit it off immediately after that, and Rei nearly had a heart attack when he returned to his dorm later that day to find his little brother and best friend covered in smoke and talking animatedly about the accidental arson they had committed.
Hey, at least John had a new friend, right?
Luckily, the two were let off the hook, managing to convince the staff it was an accident which, really, it was, and Kuyo's medical career was safe. It also helped that the two were high-tiers.
As much as their society sucked, those high-tier privileges really did come in handy sometimes.
So, yea. Rei expected a lot of different things to go down when John and Kuyo were left alone together.
What he didn't expect was to enter his dorm room and find his little brother and his roommate slapping each other in the face with tortillas.
'What the hell…?' Was the first thought that went through the young man's head.
'Why can't these two ever do normal people things?'Rei let out an exasperated sigh, bringing a hand up to run down his face as he let his backpack slip off his left shoulder and fall unceremoniously to the ground.
John and Kuyo still hadn't noticed his arrival, too absorbed in their weird game to notice that their friend/brother had returned.
Rei trudged up to the duo, watching with a raised brow as his little brother whacked Kuyo in the face with his tortilla, the bluenette letting out a snort of laughter, which, in turn, resulted in John desperately holding back his own snorts of laughter.
The young man took note that both of the pair's cheeks were puffed out, making them look very similar to chipmunks hoarding nuts in their tiny mouths.
He came to the conclusion that their mouths were filled with something, but with what?
