Tuesday morning came and the only one that seemed to be chipper was Esmeralda. She even went as far as packing for Marlowe. Marlowe didn't know what was in her suitcase, but she was sure she wasn't going to like it.

Alpha Crane had arranged for a private plane to fly them from the Albuquerque Airport to Phoenix, Arizona. Alpha Crane wanted to put on a show and invited all of the Alphas and Lunas of the different territories of the colony to meet with the Harper pack. There would be a banquet Tuesday evening and a meeting with all of the Alphas the following morning. They would all depart Wednesday afternoon.

Esmeralda told the twins privately to pack for 2 weeks and bring everything they needed to go on a mission. They did as they were told, but Jasper was suspicious and Aspen told Marlowe she thought Esmeralda knew something. Marlowe got a small overnight bag and put all her gear in there. She wasn't going to miss a fight.

Marlowe road with Esmeralda and the twins to the airport. Their parents, Mark, and a few other warriors rode in a separate truck. The twins decided it was appropriate to blast music to get rid of any jitters. Marlowe motioned for Jasper to turn down the music.

"So, now that it's just us, tell us why you've been so secretive." Marlowe directed her question at Esmeralda.

"Aspen, I love you, little love, but you can't hold water!" Esmeralda scolded her surrogate daughter. Aspen, now red in the face, was looking like a punished school child in the back seat next to Marlowe.

"Even if she didn't tell me, you still insisted on packing my suitcase!" Marlowe said to her godmother.

"Fine. Fine." Esmeralda waved her hand in the air. "I know things..." She paused. "And you know I can't tell you everything, because it will mess up the future, but here's what I can say. We are going to show Crescent Moon why we would be an asset to them."

The twins looked at each other and grinned. They loved a good fight. The twins were virtually indestructible together. And that was when Aspen stayed in human form. If she turned into a fox it was game over. The 4 of them were the Harper pack's secret weapons. Why their pack was considered small, but mighty. There have been rumors of a white wolf being in their pack for years, but her parents and Esmeralda made sure that they would stay rumors. No enemy that saw the white wolf, ever lived to tell anyone.

"And my job is to woo them with my outfits?" Questioned Marlowe.

Esmeralda smiled widely, "You have a bonus mission, little love." Esmeralda knew something, but she wasn't going to let Marlowe in on any of it. Marlowe rolled her eyes and pouted.

As they pull up to the gate of the private airport Marlowe gets a call. It was fletcher. She wasn't talking to him. She thanked him for the medicine over text, but she wasn't ready to talk to him. He neglected to tell her who he really was. And she still didn't even have a clear answer on that either. He's an alpha, but of what pack? He said he was in Arizona for business, but everyone seems to believe he lives in the UK. What business did he have to deal with in the desert? Completely distracted by her thoughts, she didn't have the time to react as Aspen stole her phone and answered it.

"Hello, Alpha Fletcher." Aspen beamed

Marlowe mouthed "give it back." And Aspen stuck out her tongue.

Jasper was mouthing "put it on speaker!" And Aspen did.

"I see we've put on our thinking caps." Fletcher chuckles.

"No thanks to you." Scoffed Marlowe and rolled her eyes.

Aspen interjected. "We figured it out after my little sister here went into heat way faster than a normal wolf would. Oh, and the eyes, dipshit."
