You could be the greatest, you can be the best.

Louis's POV:
"Alright, losers, listen up!" Raichi's voice cut through the air, loud and brash. He was standing there shirtless, flexing like he was some sort of gladiator. "I don't care who you are, or where the hell you came from. You're all garbage compared to me—Raichi Jingo. Got it?"
"Uh... thanks for sharing?" Ichigo—who, to this day, I still didn't know by name—mumbled, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. His orange hair practically glowed under the fluorescent lights, making him look like a knight from some RPG fantasy.
"I think it's cool that we're all strikers!" Bachira piped up, grinning ear to ear. "It's gonna be chaos, but fun chaos! I'm Bachira, by the way. I'm here to find my monster! Let's all get along!"
"Monster?" 299's voice echoed, tilting his head like a confused puppy.
"Yeah! There's one inside you too, Isagi. I can feel it!" Bachira's eyes sparkled ominously as he pointed at Isagi, who visibly recoiled.
"Oh, uh... thanks? I guess?" Isagi muttered, clearly unsure how to deal with this guy's energy.
"Don't let him freak you out," someone said, tossing his long pink hair over his shoulder. He looked like he belonged on a runway, not a football field. "I'm Chigiri Hyoma. Don't underestimate me because of my hair—or anything else, for that matter."
"I wasn't planning to," Isagi said quickly. "I'm Isagi Yoichi, by the way."
"Alright, kiddos," Kuon stepped in with his hands raised like he was trying to calm down a riot. "Let's all play nice since we're stuck as a team now. Name's Kuon Wataru. Remember, teamwork makes the dream work."
"Yeah, except teamwork's dead here, remember? Thanks, Ego," Naruhaya muttered from the corner. "I'm Naruhaya. Nice to meet you, I guess."
"Gagamaru Gin," another voice chimed in. Everyone turned to see the towering figure. His long limbs and intense gaze made him look more like a cryptid than a football player. "I like goals. And ramen."
"Ramen's great," Kunigami nodded approvingly. "I'm Kunigami Rensuke. Looking forward to playing with you guys."
"Well, that's most of us," another guy said, scratching his head. He looked like your typical average joe, with nothing particularly striking about him. "I'm Iemon. Let's just not embarrass ourselves out there, okay?"
"Way to inspire confidence, man," Naruhaya snorted.
"I'm not here for your approval," Iemon shot back.
Before the banter could escalate, Kira stood up, clearing his throat. "I'm Kira Ryosuke. Let's make this a meaningful experience. Football is about more than just winning—"
"Football is about winning" Raichi and I cut in simultaneously—me with a calm tone, him practically shouting
"He's probably not going to last long," Bachira said cheerfully, as if predicting Kira's demise without a second thought.
I couldn't help but chuckle under my breath. These guys were all over the place, but somehow... it felt exciting.
"Well, I'm Louis," I said, finally chiming in. "Let's just try not to kill each other before the next game, alright?"
