"So, match number 9 ended with Team V's win against Team W," Iemon announced, as our team sat gathered around the monitor, strategizing for the last game. "After this match, our group standings look like this..."

(I actually had to dig through my old notes just to figure out the scores again. Overestimated Team X and Y, now I'm swimming in a sea of regrets... darn):
"Team Z is in third place," he said. "We'll play this stadium's very last game against Team V! The least we need to do is to tie, so we can outscore team W" At that moment, I noticed someone's head drooping lower and lower, looking heavier by the second. I nudged Louis, who startled awake for a split second, then just blinked sleepily and drifted off again.
"But there's an easier solution—if we win, we'll pass for sure!" Iemon declared, eyes full of determination. Just as he said it, there was a loud thud breaking the cool moment. We all turned to see Louis had fallen right off his chair. He didn't even wake up—just muttered something half-conscious and kept on snoozing.
"Guess I'd better get him to the sleeping room," I said, hoisting him up and wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Oh man, what does he even do all night?" Kira wondered, chuckling.
"He sleeps," Kunigami sighed, clearly amused. "He goes to bed earlier than anyone and wakes up later than anyone."
I just grinned at their comments, adjusted Louis's arm, and made my way out of the room, stifling a laugh at the sight of my perpetually sleepy teammate.
Once we finished the discussion and got back to our room, we started playing Guess What I'm Saying. Bachira widened his eyes, looked up, and stuck his tongue out.
