XIt felt like someone had messed around in my head and put new parts in it.
The large scar on my forehead was evidence of this. When we were slowly let out of the small chamber, we found ourselves in a room painted red. The sofa was black and it was beautifully decorated. The pillows were as deep red as the wall behind them.
A dizzy feeling came over me. The air was stuffy, as if it hadn't been ventilated in ages.
There was a man sitting on the black leather sofa, an old man.
We were instructed to stand in a line and fold our hands in front of our bodies. My nervousness increased. But surprisingly, I didn't find this unpleasant at all. I slowly started playing with my fingers.
Maya next to me looked at me and wanted to say something, but another man's voice sounded."Pick one of them, you know how it goes." laughed the other.
I felt uneasy. This man was definitely not here for the first time. Maybe he already has this generation before us...
yes, what did he do with them?He didn't think twice and pointed his skinny finger at... me.
I felt very cold. Goosebumps spread across my body. It felt like a faint. I briefly wanted to fall into Maya's arms next to me, but I pulled myself together and stood my ground. The gray-haired man put his disgusting hand on my shoulder and pushed my now brown hair to the side with the other.
I swallowed. He whispered in my ear, his disgusting voice echoing in my head."Don't worry... we've given you everything you need to know. Remember... you're as pretty as a blossoming flower. I would love to have someone like you too..."
I felt sick. I quickly slapped his hand away and took a few steps forward towards the seated man.
He now stood up and put his hand on my back.
I quickly looked at Maya behind me for help.
She could only look at me worriedly.
The last thing I saw before the door slammed was the other girls being led out of the room.I swallowed quickly. I knew what was happening to me now. I knew it. Even though I had never been here, even though I had been sleeping for the last five years.
But something in me enjoyed it a little...
Why did I feel this way?
Was that really me, or was that what the doctors had put into my brain? From now on I had to ask myself whether everything I felt came from HYDRA or from me.
But I couldn't think about that thought any further because I was pushed into another room.
A bed, no blanket, just a pillow.
My bottom lip started to tremble and I let out a shaky breath.I slowly turned around, my long brown hair falling over my shoulder as I freed it from its braid.
My eyes locked on the man in front of me. He just stood there and stared at me.
