While we were sitting in the jet, I pulled my pants down a little so that I could at least control the gaze of the soldiers around me.
My thoughts were elsewhere as I sat down to think deeply...The girls. What could I do to not let her do the same?
What chance did we have? No. Logically speaking... none.
These men were influential and all-powerful.
Nothing about it could stop them from making us their own.To make us their possession. Their property, which they could use and throw away as they pleased.
The girls... my fellow comrades. Shouldn't they experience the same thing I had to. They should not be violated by men and then left half-naked in the hallway.
If we're going to escape, we'll need more experience.
combat experience. It's all well and good that we have the knowledge implanted in us. But we still couldn't use it well in practice. When we arrived, I stood in front of Bucky to get off the jet before him.
But he just stared at me and said nothing.
"A thank you would have been nice too, you know. That's appropriate."
I crossed my arms, a little offended.Of course I knew that he didn't know anything like decency. But he was still a person like everyone else here. With a little serum, but a human.
I wanted to treat him like I would treat other soldiers.
Maybe then he could feel, at least a little, better. Because no matter how much HYDRA may deny it... there's still Bucky in him. Or James, or whatever name."Don't get any stupid ideas, you brat."
One of the hooded soldiers pointed his gun at me.
Since that was my least problem, because the ball itself couldn't do anything to me, I didn't give up so easily."That was just a joke. My God you are all humorless..."
I said theatrically to make my behavior seem like I wasn't serious. When we got out I was shivering. This was definitely not the weather for shorts...
"Is anyone here a gentleman and has a coat to lend...?
No? I thought to myself..."I felt like I was talking to myself.
It was fascinating how crazy you could become when things were going so badly. We entered the bunker-like building and the feeling of habit came back.
It's funny that I would feel comfortable here...
Some of the walls were new, I could tell because they didn't shine as rusty as the old parts. That meant HYDRA planned to stay there longer. We arrived at a crossroads and it was then that I realized that James and I had to part ways.
"Well then... Goodbye, B."He wouldn't have thought it possible that this letter could trigger so much in the brown-haired man.
The letter gave him hope. The nickname gave him hope.
She, gave him hope.
