General Xiaogui looked at Hua Zuiyue from head to toe, still in disbelief. "Are you saying the Second Prince brought you here himself?"
Hua Zuiyue's expression was one of confusion and innocence. She nodded earnestly in response to Xiaogui's question. "My husband asked me to stay here and reflect."
Xiaogui: "..."
Xiaogui's face twisted with an indescribable expression. He couldn't understand why the Second Prince would suddenly leave this idiot princess in such a place.
Was it possible that the Second Prince hated this little idiot princess and left her here to fend for herself?
But no matter how displeased the Second Prince might be, it seemed unlikely he'd do something so outrageous.
Xiaogui frowned at Hua Zuiyue, who was clearly in distress. Now that he had encountered this situation, he was unsure whether to take her back with him. He had no idea what the Second Prince was thinking, and he didn't dare to inquire further.

Seeing his prolonged silence, Hua Zuiyue's head drooped, and she said dejectedly, "You’re not here to take me back."
She sniffled, and tears began to roll down her cheeks.

Xiaogui felt his headache intensify. As a general stationed in this harsh land, he felt utterly helpless in the face of this tearful idiot.
The worst part was that this idiot had a powerful background, and he couldn't just get rid of her with a single blow.
After much deliberation, Xiaogui finally decided to take Hua Zuiyue back with him. Now that he had encountered her, he couldn't leave her alone on this barren mountain.
He first asked some of the guards to take Hua Zuiyue down to get something to eat, then ordered someone to send a letter to Ye Yuehui overnight.
Early the next morning, he set off for the Heavenly Palace with Hua Zuiyue.
Riding on the back of the divine beast, Hua Zuiyue wiped away her tears. It was time to leave that hellish place behind.
Upon returning to the Heavenly Palace, Xiaogui quickly ordered Hua Zuiyue to be taken to Yuehui Palace.
When she arrived, Ye Yuehui was not there. Hua Zuiyue didn't wait for him and went straight to the kitchen.
Having spent a night in the Wugu Mountain Range without a bite to eat, she was eager for a proper meal now that she was back. After eating and drinking her fill, she went to her room to catch up on sleep.
Hua Zuiyue didn’t sleep long. Half asleep, she sensed a cold gaze on her.
She woke abruptly and sat up, only to meet Ye Yuehui's smiling eyes.
Hua Zuiyue: "!!!"
