13. The dare

Jimin's PoV:-

"Are you seriously gonna do this, hyung?" Yoongi said. I was still, unable to think.

Kiss the person beside you! And fortu- unfortunately I was sitting beside him. My heart was beating so loud, making me worried if the person beside me could hear it.

"Yeah, why not?!" Jin hyung smirked more. Is he taking revenge or what?! "Okay then!" What okay?! "I will kiss your boyfriend!" Did he just-?! He said what?!

I looked at him with confusion. His blank face scared me sometimes. "Nahh, you ain't gonna do that!" Jin hyung's smirk vanished. He must've thought that Yoongi Hyung would not choose Namjoon hyung. Haha what a joke.

Jungkook eyed me. His words that day suddenly popped in my mind.

"I don't know about me and Taetae but Yoongi hyung... He likes you... It's been 7-8 years! I can't even imagine how he went through this whole hiding thing in order to stay close to you forever."

"Hyunggg, don't even think of that!" Namjoon hyung whined. "I too.. Don't want to! So this dare is cancelled!" He directed. "Why? You can kiss me if you want to!" I said in a low voice. He looked at me, everyone did. After a minute of pin drop silence and us staring into each other, he leaned towards me.

The distance closed as his eyes lingered between my eyes and lips. Just one movement and I would feel his lips mine but-

Yoongi backed away as his mind came to its senses. "I am not doing this dare!" He let out a sigh that no one noticed, his heart beating rapidly. "Then pay the penalty!" Jin smirked for the last time. Yoongi sighed and nodded. At last, he had to pay for their dinner tonight.

"He didn't kiss you for a reason bae!" Hobi tried to convince Jimin who wouldn't stop thinking. "Yeah, we all were there! I saw how he controlled himself. He must've thought of something." Tae said. "Yeah, I know. It's just, I also saw the way he backed off like he thought of something. His eyes held intensity."

Hobi patted his thighs. "I know right! Get some rest now, we have a big day tomorrow, don't we?" Latter guys nodded. "Sleep well, I'm having an important task. I'll be out." They both again nodded and Hobi walked out of the room.

"Whatever he did, but he had kissed you then and there, I would have cheered so loud." Tae squealed thinking about it. "Hmm." That's all I could feel about whole kiss thing. I didn't say anything, so did tae. It was unusual so I looked up. He was playing with the blanket, thinking about something.

"You know, when you guys were busy about kissing thing, Jungkook was looking at Yoongi hyung with so much hope. Like, he too wanted that kiss to happen." He chuckled. "That disappointed on his face!" He sighed and tossed onto the bed. "I wish you guys would've kissed so at least, he might have smiled a little, a genuine ome that he was hiding all these days!"

"What do you mean?" I asked despite knowing what he meant. "Sometimes I feel like, he had some serious sort of reasons to say no. He likes me but something is stopping him from coming to me." He smiled a little, a sad smile. "You can wait for him, can't you?!" I said in a soft voice. He nodded. "I will wait for him." He said while taking a deep breathe to hold back his tears.

"I didn't expect this from you, hyungie!" Jimin whispered that made Jhope startle so bad. "What the heck, Jimin?! What are you doing!" He huffed and puffed. "Watching what you are doing nowadays!" He pointed his eyes on his hyung's phone who instantly switched it off.

"Hey! That's wrong!" Hobi pouted. "Haha. What's the deal of being wrong and right between us?! And I've already seen those!" Hobi widened his eyes. "What?!" Jimin smiled with mischief. "I can't seem to take you of my mind!" Jimin said. Hobi answered with whispers, "Keep it down, Jimin!"
Jimin whistled mocking him. "So who's that pretty girl?" He asked.

"Umm...... You won't tell anyone, right?" Jimin narrowed his little eyes. "I... Won't! Now tell me-"
"No, you will tell Tae!"
"I won't!"
"You will!"
"Are you gonna spill the tea or want me to shout my fucking lungs out until everyone gets to know about that lover of yours?! Just say the word!"
"Oh shut up, Park Jimin!"
"Why would I?! I'll show you a demo, TAEHYUNGIE-!"
"Oh god! Okay fine! I'm telling you!"
Jimin smiled cheekily.

"So once up on a time, in a great grand palace-"
"Are you a child or am I?" Hobi gave a blank look. Hobi scoffed and continued, "Her name is Kyu Minsoo. I met her at Han river...."

Flashback:-

Under the setting sun and calming breeze, Hobi was sat under a tree looking at the mild waves of the river. He sighed under his mask, questioning his choices. He couldn't even breath outside without a mask that covered his well known face. He leaned back on the tree, looking up at the purple and pink shaded sky. "How fucked up my life is beside all the efforts I give in!"

He murmured recalling the incident that happened just a few hours ago when Jimin fell unconscious due to overworking and just was blaming himself for the same.

"At least you have a life..." He heard a soft and calming female voice redressing him. "Some people don't..." Hobi turned to his side finding a girl sitting adjacent to him. She was smiling looking up in the sky. "So am I lucky?" He asked turning back to his former position. "Yeah, more than that!" After a comfortable minute of silence. "You got a nice voice!"

"But I'm still not IU, am I?!" Hobi chuckled. "You need not to be her to have a good voice, don't you?" He asked and closed his eyes. "It's true.... So are you still upset?"

"Little better!" She smiled. "Lean on, I'll sing for you!" She exclaimed making hobi toss up and look at her with widened eyes. "What? Really! Lean on, you said I have a good voice." Hobi gave a single nod and hesitantly leaned on her shoulder.

A soft melody that she hummed calmed his heart beats. After few minutes, she stopped.

"Do you know who am I?" He said in a low voice. "I am J-" She didn't let him complete himself. "Jung Hoseok!" He tossed up from her shoulder. "You- you knew?!" He asked, surprised.

"Y-Yeah! But don't worry, I won't tell a soul about it!" Although, it was not right for Hobi to trust anyone, her eyes did tell her honesty. "O-Okay, I trust you!" She smiled widely. "I'm Min soo. Kyu Min-soo!"

".... And then we started talking. That's all. I like her but won't confess. It's all complicated for us. But still, I am willing to cherish this time with her..." He smiled, wasn't a sad smile. Rather a peaceful one.

"One of us is straight, I guess?" Jimin whispered to himself. "Sorry?"

"Nothing!" Jimin smiled after a chuckle. "I will make sure that you find her in your every storm, hyung!"
