Egos: Chase Brody, Robbie the Zombie (Jacksepticeye)

Chase Brody raised an eyebrow as he watched Robbie zoom across the hallway, his hands on top of each other to create an oval-like shape. Chase got up off the sofa before slowly reaching for the remote control to lower the volume of the TV, then listened out for Robbie: nothing.

Ok, now he was concerned.

'Robbie? What are you doing?' he asked as he slowly left the living room and looked down the hallway, surprised: he kept forgetting how fast of a runner Robbie was. But his absence in the hallway meant he must've gone upstairs and to his room or Anti's. Going upstairs, Chase knew the zombie child wouldn't be in Anti's room because the glitch demon was having a nap and hated being disturbed from his sleep. As he got closer to Robbie's room door, he could hear the child quietly talking to someone from inside. Chase frowned.

'Robbie?' he said quietly, gently giving the door a knock. The second he did, Robbie went quiet, which only increased Chase's concern and confusion. He then slowly opened the door and blinked.

Robbie was sitting cross legged on the floor, leaning against his racecar bed. But, as Chase started to peek in, the child had leaned forward, his hands cupping something that was on the floor in front of him. He looked at Chase nervously, but it was clear he thought he was hiding that emotion.

'Hi Uncle!' Robbie squeaked, hoping he sounded confident; he did not.

Chase frowned, immediately pointing to Robbie's hands, 'What's that?' he asked, but looked sympathetic as he watched the child's pale face turned even more white.

'Hey, I'm not angry; I just saw you running holding something and I'm just curious to know what you have' he explained softly, as he walked into the room and sat on the edge of the bed.

Robbie watched him nervously then looked defeated. He looked at his cupped hands before cautiously moving them away. Chase leaned forward a little to see better but then smiled softly as he saw what Robbie had been hiding.

'It was all on its own' Robbie explained hesitantly.

On the floor was a black baby bird. Chase noticed it looked extremely small and must've hatched quite recently. He glanced at Robbie.

'Are you sure it was on its own? No mother or nest nearby?' Chase asked; he knew Robbie had a tendency to take small animals' home without thinking about whether he'd taken them away from their families. But he knew he didn't intentionally do it-he would see a cute animal and want to look after it. Chase nodded as he saw Robbie shake his head.

'Ok...' he muttered then very carefully slid off the bed to sit next to the child. Now that he could see Chase's manner change, Robbie started to relax and looked at the bird before gently petting its head with a finger. The bird chirped weakly in response.

Chase sighed, 'Ok, you can keep it.' He says but looks at Robbie sternly as the child's face brightens, 'but you have to keep the bird in either mine or your room until Anti and Katana have gotten used to it' he continued-Katana was Anti's cat that he'd been gifted by his brothers for his birthday. At this, Robbie must've realized what Chase meant and quickly nodded, understanding the rule completely.

Chase smiled softly then looked at the bird, 'but...it is very cute. We gotta get supplies for it if it's staying here though.'
