  Unfortunately, the translator wasn't with him, nor was his best good enough. The Vietnam soldier, being on higher defense due to his injuries, grabs his gun and shoots Henry. He kills him in one swift movement. Henrys' partner hears the gunshot and rushes over to investigate. Once he sees the enemy, he pulls his gun out and shoots the scared, injured soldier. Henry turns his head weakly to witness the bullet go clean through the enemys' left eye. The last thing he sees is a fellow soldier bashing the others' face in with the back end of his gun.

  Henry was never able to reunite with his family. Neither was that little boy, or the Vietnam soldier. The last thing they all saw was violence. The last they ever heard were were screams. The last thing they all felt was fear and loneliness.
