Round 4: Lance vs Geeta

The tension in the stadium was palpable as the next battle was announced: Lance, the Dragon Master and Champion of the Kanto and Johto regions, against Geeta, the Chairwoman and Champion of the Paldea region. Both stood at opposite ends of the battlefield, eyes locked with a mutual understanding of each other's strength.

Lance adjusted his cape and smiled confidently. "I've battled countless Champions, but I'm excited to take on a leader like you, Geeta."

Geeta remained calm, her expression unreadable. "I expect nothing less than your best, Lance. Let's see whose Champion title carries more weight."

The referee raised their hand. "Trainers, release your first Pokémon!"

Lance wasted no time. "Flygon, take the field!"

The desert dragon appeared, wings spread wide, letting out a screech as it hovered just above the ground.

Geeta considered her options before making her choice. "Glimmora, you're up!"

Her Rock/Poison-type Glimmora appeared, releasing a wave of toxic energy into the air as it floated, ready for battle.

"Flygon, start with Earthquake!" Lance commanded.

Flygon slammed the ground with its claws, sending tremors racing toward Glimmora. The ground-type attack was a super-effective hit, knocking Glimmora back and leaving it heavily damaged.

Geeta remained unfazed. "Glimmora, Sludge Wave!"

Glimmora retaliated by releasing a wave of poisonous sludge that washed over Flygon, dealing significant damage but not enough to take it out.

Lance saw his chance. "Flygon, finish it with Dragon Claw!"

Flygon soared forward, its claws glowing with draconic energy, and slashed down, knocking Glimmora out.

"Glimmora is unable to battle! Flygon wins!" the referee announced.

Geeta returned Glimmora without a word. "Espathra, it's your turn."

The psychic bird Pokémon materialized on the battlefield, its eyes gleaming as it eyed Flygon.

Lance knew this would be tricky. "Flygon, return! Haxorus, you're up!"

Haxorus appeared, roaring as it clashed tusks together, ready for battle.

Geeta was quick. "Espathra, Dazzling Gleam!"

The Fairy-type attack shot from Espathra in a bright flash of light, striking Haxorus hard and exploiting its Dragon weakness.

Lance gritted his teeth. "Haxorus, hold on! Use Iron Tail!"

Haxorus's tail gleamed with metallic energy as it swung at Espathra, hitting hard and dealing significant damage.

Geeta remained calm. "Espathra, Lumina Crash!"

The powerful Psychic-type move struck Haxorus with crushing force, knocking it out before it could react.

"Haxorus is unable to battle! Espathra wins!" the referee declared.

Lance recalled Haxorus with a smile. "You're good, Geeta. But let's turn things around. Salamence, go!"

The mighty Dragon/Flying-type emerged, roaring as it flapped its wings, ready to take on Espathra.

Geeta responded instantly. "Espathra, Dazzling Gleam again!"

The Fairy-type move shot toward Salamence, but Lance was ready.

"Protect, Salamence!"

A barrier formed around Salamence, absorbing the attack. Lance quickly followed up. "Now, Dragon Claw!"
