Over the past week and a half, my school life has been peaceful because Sophia was nowhere to be seen after I had tried to choke her to death.
I was walking around with crutches in school, but It was very difficult since people would trip me over because nobody showed me respect, even if my stepbrother was Damian Reed.
I think it's because of those rumors that Sophia spread about me.
She spread rumors that I was a whore, selling my body to Alphas from neighboring packs and that I was a drug addict, using the Reed family's money to buy drugs.
I honestly wish that somebody could kill her, she's nothing but a thorn in my life.
On the other hand, I hadn't seen Damian all week because he had stayed over at the pack house. But I heard that Simon is no longer the future beta, instead the beta is going to be someone else.
I was excited about those news because Simon can shove his own dick in his ass.
Though I had been nervous since I was going to have dinner with Damian on Saturday, where he would find out I'm his mate.
"Your leg has healed faster than I had expected." The pack doctor pulled me out of my thoughts.
He had taken off the bandage as he was examining my left leg.
"Did you find your mate? Or else It would have taken you at least three weeks to heal." The man questioned, as wolves heals way faster than humans.
"No, I mostly stayed at home and rested my leg." I half-lied.
I did rest at home in my bed, but I had stolen three pairs of Damian's shirts since his scent lingered on them and I used his scent to heal myself.
I felt guilty because Damian had troubles with his inner wolf, and here I was using his scent to heal my left leg.
Hopefully things will work out on Saturday, and that he can get his wolf back in full form, since he deserves it.
"I have checked the CT-scans and the bones in your left leg are completely healed, you won't need the bandage or the crutches anymore." The pack doctor announced the good news.
I had hoped to heal before my meeting with Damian.
After checking upon my leg, I headed out of the pack doctor's office. It felt amazing that I could walk again because I wouldn't get tripped by my classmates anymore.
I walked along the hallway, until something caught my attention, and it was the two women standing at the end of the corridor.
I hid myself behind the vending machine once I recognized the young woman who was standing and talking with a nurse, the young woman was Mia, Sophia's older sister.
Mia had her dark hair in a ponytail, wearing a pink tank top with a white skirt.
"I want to check if I'm pregnant..." Mia asked the nurse.
"Did you do a pregnancy test?" The nurse questioned her.
"No, but I want to do an ultrasound because the last time I had sex was over two weeks ago." Mia explained, but the nurse in front of her looked skeptical.
Wolves' pregnancy can detect a baby at two weeks because it grows rapidly, but we still carry our pups over the course of nine months.
"Pretty, please, Sam." Mia seemed to know the nurse, calling her by her name.
"Fine, but let's make it quick, okay?" The nurse says, leading Mia into a hospital room.
My heart felt like it had stopped because if Mia was pregnant then the baby would be Damian Reed's child.
