"Do I look good?" I ask my best friend, who's sitting on my bed and eating a bag of CINI MINIS.
I looked in the long mirror which hung on the wall, my honey blonde hair was tousled nicely.
I was dressed in a beige hoodie with a pair of cargo pants because the colors matched my golden eyes and light hair.
"You look like the sun in the sky! You look like honey!" Ash tried to be poetic, he was already dressed in a dark hoodie and a pair of black pants, he looked emo, and he probably felt emo.
"Honey? You mean the thing you put in tea?"
"Yes, you're so bright, like a sparkle of light!" Ash jokes and I hit him on the shoulder.
After getting Nova's number, I called her and wanted to meet her at the party.
That's why Ash and I had gotten ready for the party at the pack house that was thrown for Kai Lockhart.
"Are you ready?" Ash asks, bringing a small bag with him to put our phones.
"Yes... I'm nervous because we're going to a gathering or a party hosted by Damian." I whispered under my breath, but my best friend dragged me out of the house.
We were going, whether I had second thoughts or not.
Nova was waiting outside the house since I had texted her to pick us up because she had her car which was a dark red Nissan.
We entered the car, Ash took the passenger seat because he's a very social person that never runs out of battery.
Nova and Ash hit it off, they couldn't stop talking through the entire ride to the pack house.
Lovers Rock by TV Girl was blasting in the car and all of us had begun to sing along.
It felt nice, a warm feeling gathering inside my heart that I hadn't felt for a long time.
Nova drives for about twenty minutes until she turns left into a small road that leads to the pack house.
On the small road to the pack house, I could see the small houses of the pack members that were spread all around the forest. Until the forest begins to thin, and I spot the large villa peeking through the trees.
"Almost there," Nova says, and the massive house comes fully into view.
The villa, nestled deep in the forest, is a stunning sight, and It's a massive four-story house. It's a large place, built to fit up to a hundred people easily, with plenty of spaces and bedrooms.
The Moonlight pack's symbol is carved on the white front door, the symbol is of two moons that are entwined.
There are people outside the pack house who are transforming into their wolf form. They are running around and playing with each other in their wolf forms because it was dark and the full moon was in the sky.
Nova parks in the large driveway next to the other cars. We step outside and head towards the pack house that is filled with bustling activity.
Nova greets a few people since she seems to know many wolves because of her brother Kai Lockhart, who's the Beta.
I glance beside me, but my best friend is nowhere to be seen. I look behind, and I see him talking to a few of his friends on the driveway.
It's best to leave him be, he can find me whenever he wants to.
Nova and I make our way inside the house, heading towards the large dining room where everyone is sitting at a very long wooden table, their plates filled with food.
