My foot connected with the man's nose, kicking him off Daryl as he held Daryl on the floor his head close to a walker that snapped his jaws.

Kicking him off Daryl I grabbed Daryl's hand and pulled him up, Rick shot the walker on the floor and pointed his gun at the man.

The man slowly stood up and Rick's finger lingered on the trigger, "Rick, there's better than two." Daryl spoke as Rick put his gun down and grabbed the man.

________

I stood beside Noah and Tyreese in the abandoned building where the two cops sat in the chairs, Sasha in the other one regaining her composure after being hit in the head.

Rick walked in by himself and Daryl walked away from me and towards him, "He wouldn't stop." Rick said to Daryl as they were far enough away so the cops couldn't hear.

"He was a good man." The lady spoke looking up at Rick as he walked closer, "He was attacked by rotters, saw it go down." She made up a story.

"Huh, you're a damn good liar." Rick stated looking at her. "We're hanging by a thread here, he was attacked by rotters end of story." She spoke.

"You said the change was a bad idea, what changed?" Daryl questioned speaking up looking at her.

My head pounded, another migraine setting in, Tyreese held my shoulder and nodded at me making sure I was okay.

I nodded and held his arm with a small smile as the lady conversed with Rick and Daryl. Daryl glanced up at me before looking back at the cop.

_______

We walked into the hospital, Rick holding the lady's vest and Daryl holding the others. I walked behind Daryl with Noah, Tyreese and Sasha on my tail.

We walked into the hallway, my eyes connecting with Beth's and her eyes gleamed as she smiled at me, my heart beat a little faster knowing she was okay.

I looked at Carol and gave her a small smile as we stopped at the end of the hallway. "They haven't been harmed." Rick spoke looking at Dawn.

"Where's lamson?" She questioned looking at our group, "Rotters got him, we saw it go down." The woman spoke lying through her tongue.

"One of yours for one of mine." Dawn nodded as Daryl walked the officer to the middle as the other officer wheeled Carol over to Daryl.

Carol stood up and I hugged her before dawn grabbed Beth's arm and pulled her to the middle just as Rick brought the other cop following in suit.

Rick hugged Beth as she walked towards him, Beth made her way over and I wrapped my arms tightly around her.

"Are you okay?" I whispered cupping the young girls cheek and she nodded with a smile. I hugged her once more before grabbing her hand and stood beside her.

"Now I just need Noah." Dawn spoke causing us to stop walking, our heads turned to look at her and I stood in front of Noah.

"Not happening." I shook my head, glaring at her. "That wasn't part of the deal." Rick stated walking closer to her as I held Noah's arm preventing him from walking closer.

"Noah was my ward, Beth took his place and I'm losing her so I need him back." Dawn spoke nonchalantly.

"The boy wants to go home so you have no claim on him." Rick glared at her as Daryl walked next to him.

"Well then we don't have a deal." Dawn shook her head looking at Rick. "The deal is done." Rick stated tilting his head.

"It's okay." Noah stated slipping from my grasp and limping towards Rick and Daryl. "What no way!" I grabbed his arm causing him to look at me.

"It's okay." He whispered slipping away from me, "No, No." Rick looked at him as he handed his gun to him.

"It's not okay." Beth shook her head walking closer, "Wait!" Beth said as she walked up to Noah wrapping him into a hug.

"I get it now." Beth spoke standing in front of Dawn, before stabbing her with a pair of scissors. A gunshot went off and Beth's body went limp.

A gasp left my lips as I watched Beth fall to the floor, "No!" I screamed running forwards as Daryl pulled out his gun and shot her in the head.

I crouched beside beneath and held her body to my chest crying. "No! No! No!" I cried, holding the young girl in my arms and pressed a kiss onto her forehead through tears.

Everything around me was silent, only my cries echoed throughout my ears. Daryl looked down as he put away his gun, her pale body being lifted from my arms and into Daryl's.

Tyreese and Sasha walked up to me and helped me up, my hands were stained red from her blood.

I walked behind Daryl, my eyes wide and glued to the floor as he carried the now lifeless body of Beth, the screams from Maggie was the only thing I heard.
