The tension of the night had settled, but the weight of the encounter still lingered in the air. Back in the safety of their hideout, Seonghwa, Hongjoong, and San found themselves seeking solace in each other. After everything they had been through, this was the one place where they could let their guards down.

Seonghwa stood in front of the large, velvet couch, glancing between his two lovers. He moved closer to San, leaning in and pressing a soft kiss against his lips, lingering for a moment. San’s hand rested on Seonghwa’s waist, returning the kiss with gentle affection. Seonghwa pulled away, turning to Hongjoong, who smiled at him knowingly. Their lips met next, a brief but tender exchange that spoke volumes of their bond.

With a soft sigh, Seonghwa sat between them, resting his head on San’s lap. The tension in his shoulders melted away as San’s fingers absentmindedly stroked his hair. On the other end of the couch, Hongjoong shifted closer, taking Seonghwa’s feet into his lap and rubbing them gently.

Seonghwa: (murmuring) "This… this is the only thing that makes sense anymore."

San looked down at Seonghwa, his eyes soft with affection. He leaned back against the cushions, his voice calm and full of warmth.

San: (softly) "It’s all that matters. We’ve survived everything because of this… us."

Hongjoong chuckled, his hands continuing to massage Seonghwa’s feet as he nodded.

Hongjoong: "He’s right. It doesn’t matter what’s coming—we’ll deal with it. Just like we always have."

Seonghwa’s eyes fluttered shut, the comfort of his boyfriends soothing his weary mind. He felt safe with them, loved in a way that nothing else in their long, immortal lives had ever made him feel.

Seonghwa: (whispering) "I love you both. I don’t say it enough."

San leaned down, pressing a kiss to Seonghwa’s forehead.

San: "You don’t have to say it. We know."

Hongjoong smiled, his eyes filled with tenderness as he looked at Seonghwa and San.

Hongjoong: "We love you, too. We always will."

The room fell into a comfortable silence. For a moment, the danger that awaited them outside the walls of their home didn’t matter. They were together, and that was all they needed.

Seonghwa allowed himself to relax fully, his head still resting on San’s lap, his feet in Hongjoong’s hands. In their embrace, he knew that no matter what darkness lay ahead, their love would be their greatest strength.
