The peacefulness of their quiet evening didn’t last long. As the hours stretched on, Seonghwa began to feel the familiar ache deep within him. It was subtle at first—an uncomfortable gnawing in his chest—but it quickly grew more intense, like a fire spreading through his veins.

Seonghwa shifted on the couch, his brow furrowing as he tried to ignore the hunger clawing at him. San, ever attuned to Seonghwa’s moods, noticed immediately.

San: (softly) "You’re hungry, aren’t you?"

Seonghwa didn’t answer right away. He hated the weakness that came with needing to feed, but he couldn’t deny it. His hunger was growing, and it wouldn’t be long before it became unbearable.

Hongjoong, who had been quietly watching from the other side of the couch, spoke up, his tone gentle but firm.

Hongjoong: "Don’t push yourself, Hwa. You know we’re here for you."

Seonghwa sighed, finally sitting up. His eyes, which had once been calm, now glowed faintly with the hunger that coursed through him.

Seonghwa: "I didn’t want to ask. Not tonight, after everything..."

San shook his head, standing up and moving closer. He placed a comforting hand on Seonghwa’s shoulder.

San: "You never have to ask. We know when you need it."

Hongjoong came over as well, kneeling beside Seonghwa and looking up at him with a soft smile.

Hongjoong: "Let us help, okay? We want to."

Seonghwa looked between his two boyfriends, the guilt he always felt when his hunger took over slowly fading in the warmth of their understanding gazes. He nodded, finally accepting what they were offering.

San tilted his head to the side, exposing his neck without hesitation.

San: (reassuring) "Go ahead, Hwa. I can handle it."

Seonghwa hesitated for a moment, his eyes flickering with uncertainty. But then the hunger surged forward, too strong to ignore any longer. He gently grasped San’s arm, his lips brushing against San’s skin before his fangs elongated, sharp and ready.

Seonghwa bit down gently, the taste of blood instantly calming the storm inside him. San winced slightly but placed his hand on Seonghwa’s back, steadying him.

San: (softly) "It’s okay. I’m here."

As Seonghwa fed, Hongjoong sat close by, his hand resting on Seonghwa’s knee, offering silent support. He knew this wasn’t easy for Seonghwa, but he also knew it was necessary.

After a few moments, Seonghwa pulled back, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. His eyes returned to their normal color, the hunger now sated. He glanced at San, worried he might have taken too much.

Seonghwa: (softly) "Are you okay?"

San smiled, nodding as he leaned back against the couch, looking a bit pale but otherwise fine.

San: "I’m good. Don’t worry about me."

Hongjoong grinned, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

Hongjoong: "You act like we haven’t done this a hundred times before."

Seonghwa smiled weakly, the relief of being fed finally washing over him. He rested his head against San’s shoulder, feeling the warmth of his lovers surrounding him.

Seonghwa: (gratefully) "Thank you. Both of you."

Hongjoong leaned in, brushing a gentle kiss against Seonghwa’s temple.

Hongjoong: "Always, Hwa. We’re in this together, remember?"

San nodded, his hand resting on Seonghwa’s arm.

San: "You don’t have to carry this alone."

With their love and support, Seonghwa’s hunger was no longer a burden. Together, they faced everything—whether it was the darkness outside or the hunger within.
