(Poppy and Branch climbed to the top of the ladder)

Poppy: Almost there.

(Branch climbs over the top, but trips and falls into Poppy's arms. He stands up)

Branch: I want to thank you for stopping that woman.

Poppy: Uh, forget it. So, uh, this is your first time in the marketplace, huh?

(Poppy uses her hair  to vault to the next building, leaving Branch behind)

Branch: Isn't that obvious?

Poppy: Well, you do kinda stand out. (Stares at him, still in love. He returns the look. But she realizes what she is doing, and returns to normal) I mean, uh, you don't seem to know how dangerous Toongrabah can be. (She lays a plank between the buildings for him to walk over, but as she is leaned down, he hair vaults over her head. She looks back in surprise. Both Poppy's and Perky's eyes bulge)

Branch: I'm a fast learner.

Poppy: Right. C'mon, this way. (They go inside the roof of a building, dodging planks and beams as they go) Whoa. Watch your head there. Be careful.

Branch: Is this where you live?

Poppy: Yep. Just me and Perky. Come and go as we please.

Branch: That sounds fabulous.

Poppy: Well, it's not much, (Pulls back the curtain and exposes the palace) but it's got a great view. Palace looks pretty amazing, huh?

Branch: (Unsure) Oh, it's wonderful.

Poppy: I wonder what it would be like to live there, to have servants and valets...

Branch: Oh, sure. People who tell you where to go and how to dress.

Poppy: It's better than here. Always scraping for food and ducking the guards.

Branch: You're not free to make your own choices.

Poppy: Sometimes you feel so--

Branch: You're just--

Both: (in unison) --trapped.

(They look and smiled at each other, realizing that they're perfect for one another. But Poppy then realizes where she is, and breaks the look. She takes the apple out of Perky's paws and rolls it down her arm into the hand of Branch)

Poppy: So, uh, where're you from?

Branch: What does it matter? I ran away, and I am not going back.

Poppy: Really? How come? (Takes a bite from the apple in her hand, then hands it to Perky, who has a disgusted look on her face)

Perky: (Disgusted growl)

(Poppy walks over and sits next to Branch)

Branch: My grandma's forcing me to get married.

Poppy: That's--that's awful. (Perky appears from behind the prince and tries to steal the apple.) Perky!

(Perky races up to a higher point, chattering and cursing as she goes)

Branch: What?

Poppy: Perky says that--uh--that's not fair.

Perky: (Confused chitter)
