(Cloud Strife x Sephiroth's sister reader)

Cloud trudged through the dusty streets of the Sector 7 slums, his boots crunching on the cracked pavement. He had just finished another merc job, taking out a group of monsters for a hefty paycheck. As he approached the 7th Heaven bar, Cloud's eyes fell upon the familiar figure of (Y/n), Sephiroth's one and only sibling, lounging outside.

(Y/n) sits against the wall, her (H/c) hair shining in the sunlight as she watches the world go by. She notices Cloud approach and gives him a lopsided smirk, raising a hand in greeting.

"Sup, Strife? I take it the job went well."

Cloud's expression darkened as he went to join her. He leaned against the wall, crossing his arms. He nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes never leaving her.

"It went fine," he grunted. "Nothing I couldn't handle." He glanced at her, eyeing her up and down, but quickly looking away.

(Y/n) chuckled, a smirk playing at the corners of her lips. "Of course. Nothing could ever stop you, huh?" She pushed herself up from the wall, stretching her arms over her head.

"Come to show off your tough mercenary act, or did you come to see me?"

Cloud's eyes flicked back to her, and he scowled. "Don't flatter yourself," he said tersely, still trying to keep his distance. He folded his arms across his chest, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

"I just came to get a drink, that's all," he grumbled, not meeting her eyes.

(Y/n) laughed, her smirk widening as she took a step towards him. "Sure, tough guy," she teased, her hands going to her hips. "You just can't get enough of me, can you?" She reached out and poked his chest, her touch light and playful.

Cloud's scowl deepened, and he batted her hand away from his chest. "Please," he retorted, rolling his eyes. "You wish."

He took a step back, putting more distance between them. But despite his grumpy demeanor, his eyes lingered on her for just a moment before he looked away, his cheeks slightly flushed.

(Y/n)'s smirk turned into a grin as she saw Cloud's flushed cheeks. She loved getting under his skin, and it seemed like she was succeeding today.

"Oh, come on, Strife," she teased, taking another step towards him. "You know you can't resist me." She leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "You secretly love it when I annoy you, don't you?"

Cloud bristled, but he couldn't deny the truth in her words. There was something about her that both intrigued and annoyed him. He took another step back, his back hitting the wall behind him. He was trapped. He scowled, trying to keep his cool, but his heart was racing.

"You're insufferable," he grumbled, but there was no real bite in his words.

(Y/n) chuckled, closing the gap between them even more. She placed her hands on the wall on either side of him, effectively trapping him against the wall.

"Oh, I know," she said with a smirk. "But you like it, don't you?" She leaned in even closer, her face only inches from his.

Cloud inhaled sharply, his heart thudding in his chest. He tried to act all tough, but he was starting to feel overwhelmed. His mind was telling him to push her away, but his body had other ideas.

He swallowed hard, his eyes flicking down to her lips before quickly looking away, his cheeks turning even redder.

"Tch. Shut up," he muttered, unable to think of a more dignified retort.

(Y/n) chuckled, noticing the way Cloud's gaze had darted down to her lips. She could tell that he was flustered, despite his attempts to hide it.

"Make me," she challenged, a hint of mischief in her eyes. She was enjoying this little game they were playing, pushing his buttons and watching him struggle to keep his cool.

Cloud gritted his teeth, his hands clenching into fists. He was backed into a corner, both literally and figuratively. (Y/n) had him right where she wanted him.

He could feel his resolve crumbling, the tension in the air thick as a fog. He was torn between shoving her away and giving in to the desires he was trying so hard to ignore. With a gruff sigh, Cloud finally gave in, lifting a hand to grip her chin firmly.

"You really are annoying, you know that?"

(Y/n)'s eyes widened slightly at Cloud's touch, surprise mixing with the mischievous gleam, yet she leaned into his grip, her smirk unwavering.

"I know," she replied, her voice a mix of mockery and satisfaction, as Cloud leaned in. "But you can't resist me."

Cloud's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He wanted to resist her, to push her away and maintain his tough merc persona, but there was a part of him that was drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

He could feel her warmth so close to him, her breath hot against his skin, and he could see the sparkle of challenge in her eyes. He gritted his teeth and closed the gap between them, leaning in.

"Damned woman," he muttered, before his lips met hers.

(Y/n)'s smirk vanished as Cloud's lips met hers, replaced by a look of surprise. But it was only a brief moment of shock before she melted into the kiss, her hands moving to rest on his chest.

She hadn't anticipated that he would give in so easily, but she wasn't complaining.

Cloud deepened the kiss, his hands moving to her hips, pulling her closer. He tried to maintain some semblance of control, but the feel of her body against his was driving him wild.

He broke the kiss, his breaths coming fast and heavy. "You're nothing but trouble," he panted, his forehead resting against hers.

(Y/n) laughed softly, her own breaths coming in ragged gasps as she looked up at him. Her hands moved to tangle in his spiky blond hair.

"You love it," she retorted between breaths, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Cloud's heart thumped against his chest as he felt her fingers in his hair, eliciting a shiver that ran down his spine.

"Maybe," he grumbled, his hands moving from her hips to grip her wrists loosely, pulling them away from his hair. "Or maybe I just tolerate you because you're too stubborn to stay away."

(Y/n) smirked at his response, her wrists relaxed in his grip. "Admit it, Strife. You can't get enough of me," she taunted, her head tilting to the side as she looked up at him. "Admit you love me."

Cloud opened his mouth to protest, but the words died on his tongue.

He could feel himself giving in, his defenses crumbling with each passing moment. He knew he should push her away, but his body had other plans.

He closed his eyes as his forehead rested against hers, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Tch. Fine. I...I love you, (Y/n)."

(Y/n)'s smirk softened into a smile as she heard his confession, her heart swelling. "And I love you, Cloud," she whispered back, her hands slipping free from his grip and moving to cup his face.

"Now kiss me, you idiot."

Cloud couldn't resist her order. His hands moved to her waist, pulling her flush against him as his lips crashed against hers.
