Sheena's face was beaming as she walked out of the hospital doors, the weight of her three-week vacation lifting her spirits. No more rounds, no more late-night emergencies, and no more worrying about patients—for now. She had been counting down the days to this break, but what made it even better was the fact that Guill had filed for a leave as well. It had been a while since they could just relax together without thinking about their demanding careers. Now, they finally had three weeks to just be themselves.

As she stepped out into the parking lot, she spotted Guill leaning against his car, arms crossed, wearing that devilish grin that always made her heart flutter. He was wearing a crisp white shirt, his aviator sunglasses perched on his nose, making him look effortlessly cool as usual. In his hand was a paper bag, which Sheena immediately recognized—her favorite snacks.

"Doc, ready ka na ba?" Guill called out with a wink as Sheena approached, his grin widening.

Sheena playfully rolled her eyes, but couldn't help the smile tugging at her lips. "Ready na ako, Captain. Bakit, saan mo ba ako dadalhin?"

Guill opened the car door for her, bowing dramatically like a chauffeur. "Mam, please step inside. Destination: Private paradise. May pa-surprise ako sa'yo," he teased, making Sheena laugh.

"Naks naman! Grabe ka magpa-impress ah," Sheena said as she climbed into the car, her heart already light. "Sige nga, ano yan?"

Once inside, Guill handed her the paper bag. "Snack muna, bago ko sabihin," he said with a mischievous smirk.

Sheena opened the bag and found her favorite chips and candies. "Alam na alam mo talaga eh!" she said, taking a bite. "Pero seriously, Guill, ano na naman 'tong surprise mo? You didn't have to do anything fancy, you know."

Guill started the car and gave her a sidelong glance. "Alam ko naman, Shee. But gusto ko lang gawin 'to. Alam mo, ikaw lang ang dahilan kung bakit napapaisip akong lumipad papunta sa mga islands na hindi pa natin napupuntahan. Just me and you, away from everything."

Sheena turned to look at him, her heart swelling at his words. They had always joked about how they were the perfect combination—Guill, the pilot, and Sheena, the doctor. A match made in the sky and on land.

"Ang daming paraan para mapasaya ka, Shee, and I'll do everything I can," Guill continued, his tone now softer. "Kahit pa it means giving you the last bite of my favorite snack," he added with a playful grin.

Sheena laughed, shaking her head. "Ikaw talaga! But I love that about you. Alam mo, naisip ko, 'yung pagiging doctor ko at pagiging piloto mo, it really works. We balance each other out. Ikaw yung adventurous, ako naman yung mas cautious. Perfect match tayo."

Guill gave a satisfied nod. "Exactly! Di ba sabi ko sa'yo dati, we're like yin and yang? Saan pa ba tayo makakahanap ng ganitong combo? Magaling ka mag-alaga, tapos ako naman, I can take you anywhere in the world."

"Grabe ka magbola! Pero sige na nga, I'll admit, you've got a point." Sheena smiled, feeling a surge of happiness knowing they were finally going to have uninterrupted time together.

---

As the car sped down the highway, Sheena leaned her head back, closing her eyes as the wind tousled her hair. It was rare to have such moments—quiet, peaceful, with no hospital beeps or flight schedules hanging over their heads. Guill reached over and gently squeezed her hand, his thumb tracing small circles on her skin.

"Tingin mo kaya, Shee, in another lifetime...magiging perfect combo pa rin tayo?" Guill suddenly asked, his voice soft but curious.

Sheena opened her eyes and turned her head to look at him. The question caught her off guard, but it was something she had thought about before. "Alam mo, Guill, I honestly believe na kahit anong lifetime pa yan, ikaw at ako pa rin ang magtatagpo. I mean, who else is gonna put up with me?" she teased, poking his side.

"True!" Guill agreed, laughing. "Ikaw lang ang kayang sumabay sa kalokohan ko."

Sheena chuckled but then grew more serious. "But really, Guill, I think even in another lifetime, it'd still be you. You're the one person I can't imagine not being in my life."

"Same goes for me," Guill replied. "You're not just someone I love, Shee. You're my best friend. So yeah, I'm sure we'd find each other, no matter what."

---

They drove for hours, talking about everything and nothing at the same time—work, their friends, their future. They made pit stops at random scenic spots, laughing like they hadn't a care in the world.

After a while, Guill pulled into a private resort, and Sheena's eyes widened as she saw the secluded beach just beyond the trees. "Guill, ano 'to?" she asked, stepping out of the car in awe.

Guill grinned as he took her hand and led her toward the beach. "Sabi ko na sa'yo, private paradise. Tayo lang. Three weeks of just you and me."

Sheena looked at him, her eyes filled with wonder. "You're crazy, you know that?"

Guill chuckled, pulling her closer. "Maybe. But I'm crazy about you, Doc."

Sheena's heart raced as Guill bent down and gently kissed her forehead. "This is perfect," she whispered, wrapping her arms around him. "Thank you."

"Anything for you, Shee," Guill said, holding her close as the waves crashed gently on the shore. "Kahit na minsan gusto mo akong patayin dahil makulit ako, I'll still do everything I can to make you happy."

Sheena laughed, the sound ringing through the air. "Hindi mo pa alam, Guill. Mamaya bigla na lang kitang kurutin sa beach na 'to!"

---

The next few days were a dream. They spent their mornings by the beach, sipping coffee and watching the sunrise. Guill would randomly serenade her with silly songs, or he'd surprise her with breakfast in bed just to see her smile.

One morning, Sheena woke up to find a tray of her favorite breakfast foods on the nightstand beside her. There was a small note next to it that read: "Kain na, love. Saved the last bite for you."

She couldn't help but giggle as she read the note. Guill was always surprising her in the simplest but sweetest ways.

"Grabe ka talaga, love," Sheena whispered as she picked up the note and smiled. "Ang dami mong paraan para iparamdam sakin na mahal mo ako."

Just then, Guill walked in, wearing a goofy grin. "Tara, let's eat! Bago pa malamig ang food."

Sheena reached for his hand, pulling him down beside her on the bed. "You know, Guill, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. Kahit gaano pa ka-simple or ka-random yung mga ginagawa mo, it always makes me feel so loved."

Guill smiled, kissing the top of her head. "Well, that's my goal. To love you every day, in every little way I can."

And as they sat there, sharing breakfast and stealing kisses, Sheena knew that she didn't need anything more. They were the perfect combination, after all.

---

For the next three weeks, they spent every moment together, exploring hidden beaches, sharing snacks, and stealing quiet moments where it was just the two of them—Guill, the pilot, and Sheena, the doctor. Perfectly imperfect, perfectly in love.
