Buck was in the front, climbing up the hole to get to the overworld, while I was pushing at the back. "Yeah!" Buck yelled when we reached the top, and he put his knife in the snow. "Oh, Hello, mammals." He greets someone. "Hi Buck!" I heard the voice of Crash. "Hi!" Buck greeted, let go of his knife, and I then felt the stone getting heavier and falling right down again. "Bye Buck." Eddie said He just managed to hold on and throw the vine onto his sword. "Umm, a little help." He said, and just then we got thrown out of the hole with a lot of force. Buck landed on the stone, while I landed in the snow. "Right on the spleen." He said and stretched himself. He then quickly walked over to me and quickly lifted me from the ground. "Thanks." I said, and then the others approached us. "Hey, Y/n, Buck. Welcome back, buddy." I heard Diego's voice. "Guys!" I yelled and quickly ran out of Buck's arms and hugged Crash and Eddie. "Wait, this half-a-snack is the dinosaur whisperer?" A female voice asked, and I noticed another Sawtooth in white next to Diego.
Buck then pulled me out of the hug from Eddie and Crash. "And expert salsa dancer." He said and started dancing with me. "Hey, Buck stop." I said while laughing. "I have one eye but all my original teeth. Would you like to count them?" He asked her and opened his mouth. I slapped him on the head, and he fell with his head into the snow. "I'm sorry, he's an idiot." I said and scratched my head. He then grabbed me by my arms and climbed up on a Mammoth I hadn't seen before. "And this must be Nectarine." He said, looking at a female Mammoth. "Um, Peaches." She said. "I'm deeply honored." he said, and the other male Mammoth then started talking. "Sweet eye patch. Very gangsta." "Thank you. I like this kid." Buck said, and I then took the opportunity to climb down to greet Ellie. "Buck." Manny greeting Buck. "What are you doing here?" Manny asked. "Well, I... What. I'm trying, but how do you tell someone they're doomed?" Buck said talking with a dead three. He's stumped." He said he started laughing like crazy, pointing at the tree."
"We're not doomed, Buck. It was just a meteor shower, and the show's over." Manny said, and I shook my head. "No, it wasn't; it's just the start." I told him. "You see, we found a prophecy." He said and pointed at the stone. We all walked over to it. "I read this tabled front to back. And the story it is telling is very disturbing. Every hundred million years or so, the world gets a cosmetic cleansing. Before the dinosaurs, there were these horseshoe crab-looking thingies. Ugh, Juck. Then, at the bottom of this mountain range, an asteroid hit. Boom, bye bye. Next, dinosaurs, mountain ranges, asteroid. Boom. Bye bye. And coming up next, mammals. Mountain range, asteroid. Boom. bye-bye" He told them. "He-he stupid mammals." Crash said. "That's us." Eddie told him, and Crash started yelling.
Buck looked around in the sky searching for something. "Yep, and there she is. The mother of all asteroids screaming towards us. Even going underground won't save us this time." Buck said and pointed into the sky. "Hey, that wasn't there before." Diego said as he looked into the sky. "No worries. Because I've got a plan." Buck said with a smirk. "Really? To stop an asteroid?" Manny said unconvinced. "Look, the last two asteroids have pummeled the earth in the same spot. And it's about to happen again. We've got to go there and see what's attracting the asteroid. Once we know why it's coming, We can figure out how to send it somewhere else." Buck explained. "That plan is so dumb; I wish it had a face so I could smack it." An old sloth said. "Let me get this straight. Instead of running away from the deadly asteroid, you want us to run directly towards it?" Manny asked. "I know it sounds suboptimal, but the good news is, it'll kill us no matter where we go." Buck said, and I slapped his head. "What Buck wants to say, is this is the only way it could work." You explained. "Okay, but even if we get to the crash line, how are we supposed to change what is literally written in stone?" Manny asked, "Ah, my cynical friend. The Dinos were wiped off the face of the earth, but some escaped. They changed their fate, and we can change ours too. Who's with me?" Buck said, and they all then turned to a group circle.
"So what do you think?" Manny asked. "Honestly, I'm worried the weasels' right." Ellie said. "No! Don't listen to the weasel. He's a raving loon!" Buck said in a high-pitched voice. Everyone looked at him confused. "Sorry. I just love playing devil's advocate. And looking fabulous!" Buck said, and Manny looked at me. "How do you manage to be with him all the time?" He asked me, and I laughed a little. "It's not as bad as you present it." I told him.
In the end, they agreed to tag along and follow Buck's plan. "Crash and Eddy reporting to duty!" They said. "Haha, Doody!" One laughed, and they both then laughed their asses off. "Excellent! And dirty words processed. Now, we better get on the road. Because time till impact is in 2 days, 4 hours, 1 minute and 16 seconds. 15 seconds, 14 seconds." He went on. I then walked over to him. "I think they get it." I said and kissed his cheek. He stopped and grinned happily. "I think we're all gonna get it." Manny said.
