Chapter 18

*3 months before Erin got placed with the boys*

"Clean up this mess and then go to school" Jim says pointing at the broken plate on the floor

I don't say anything. I just start cleaning the plate off the floor that he threw at me. It barely hit me but I still feel pain from it. I put the broken pieces of the plate into the garbage and grab my school bag. I walk out the front door as Jim yells stuff at me.

I didn't hear him though. I don't care what he was to say anymore. I walk half an hour to school because Jim refuses to be seen with me. He just uses me for his own pleasure. I finally make it to school and enter the building.

I walk past a bunch of guys and their girlfriends. They give me dirty looks but I ignore them. I walk into the nearest bathroom and lock myself into a stall door. I sit on the toilet and place my bag on the hook of the stall door. I grab my blade out of my bag and pull my pants down exposing my thighs.

I make a lot of cuts on my leg. More than I even bothered to count. I just want everything to end. I haven't eaten in two days and my body was burning from the pain in my cuts. I put my blade back into my bag and leave the bathroom.

I find a side door of the building and leave. I walk down a path and into the woods that lead back home. I only left so Jim wouldn't get mad at me. He should be gone at work by now so I slowly walk back to "my house".

I finally make it back to the house and sneak in through the back door incase he's not actually gone. I quietly walk back upstairs and into my room closing the door behind me.

"Skipping again huh"

"Omfg you scared me" I say turning towards my window seeing Neta sitting in the window

"I knew I would find you here" Hollie says

Hollie is the girl next door. Scratch that. She's more than the girl next door. She's my girlfriend. We have been dating for 2 months. Ever since I got placed in this hell house. At night she would climb into my window so we could hang out or I would go over there. It was more risky for me to leave though because of Jim.

"So why aren't you at school" Hollie says

"I could say the same thing to you" I say placing my bag down and sitting on my bed.

"Mum starting homeschooling me today don't you remember" Hollie says

"Yeah sorry I forgot. My minds been cloudy lately" I say

"Well that's alright love. My mum wants to know if you wanted to come over for dinner tonight" Hollie says

"You know I can't" I say

"You could just leave and not tell Jim. Why not just run away" Hollie says

"You know I can't do that ether. If I run then I'll be put into a group home on the other side of London. I've run to many times already" I say

"I know. Let just cuddle for a while yeah" Hollie says kissing my cheek
